    Welcome to the forum! Hawaii is beautiful and I hope you can have your dream wedding there. With a DW, there *will* be people grumbling about travel and cost, but if they have advanced notice hopefully they can start saving money and vacation days. Good luck! You will definitely have a head start by clicking around here.

    Congrats and welcome! Definitely check with a travel agent or wedding coordinators to see what would fit in your budget. With my group booking, we got a few nights free and some extra fringe benefits from the booking contract. You should be able to reap some benefits with a group the size of yours. Also, if you opt not to do some of the advertised packages on a resort's website, their dinner may be a little less per person, depending on the menu. Good luck!

    Hi ladies, My DW is on 4/30/11 and I just got an email from Jacy that she won't be coordinating my wedding anymore b/c she's 5 months pregnant! Someone named Lindsay Sherman is taking over and Jacy has forwarded my file to her. I understand the reasoning, but I'm still a little freaked out! I had emailed pictures of other gazebos fand flower or decor inspiration (I did not like how the fabric was wound up so tight in some other pictures) and they said they can do similar decor for their gazebo.

    I went with a light charmeuse dress that had detailing on the bodice, but the skirt was pretty simple and lightweight, and a chapel length train. But I've seen many brides in larger ballgowns and survived because it's what they wanted on their wedding day - go with what you envision and what would make you comfortable with the weather.
