    For anyone that has already had their ceremony. Did you get your marriage certificate before you left? We switched resorts the next day and Valeria said she would mail us the certificate. We got the DVD yesterday but no certificate....

    They are pretty close to the same. The Verano is closer to the Grand side and the Tucan is closer to the chapel. I think they are about the same size.

    I just got back from the Maroma on my honeymoon. It is awesome. It is small and the rooms are beautiful. I got married at Moon Palace and liked to see pictures. So I thought I would share some. swim up rooms pool balcony - we stayed in the older rooms that are still really nice Sabores asian restaurant Chapel Sky Something - where yoga classes are and you can get massages Hope this helps!

    I think art terrace is just the area outside of the brazilIan restaurant on the nizuc side.

    Our rehearsal dinner is goign to be there. My WC told me it was in between the Nizuc and Grand side. It glooks like the chapel is close to there too. here is the map. It's #32 Prop Map.pdf

    Does anyone know what all the animals are supposed to mean? Like the dolphin or alligator? I might just be slow but I can't think of what it would mean! Also, is the sunrise side the newest?

    I would imagine that they could. I haven't picked a cake yet. My WC hasn't said asked me to pick a cake. I just told her I wanted two tiers and the flavors. I don't really want to pick from their pictures. I feel like they are kind of old and what if it doesn't even really look like that? I plan on waiting till I get there and just kind of giving them an idea. Claudia hasn't said anything about it so I am assuming it's ok.

    We have 6 tables of 10. We have 51 guest but I am doing 6 tables so it won't feel crowded. And I am not doing assigned seating because it's a buffet and there aren't that many people.

    Thank you! My friend who is a professional photographer is doing ours so I will have her watch a wedding. I had never thought about waiting or pausing for certain things. I will have to watch one as well!

    We are switching resorts. We are staying at El Dorado Maroma in Playa for the honeymoon. Moon Palace is HUGE and we wanted to stay somewhere different for the honeymoon. This place has like 70 rooms and is adults only. It is all inclusive but a there aren't buffets and things like that.

    My WC is Claudia. She has been really nice the whole time. I tried not to bug her too much until I was three months away. If I email her in the morning she responds to me sometime in the afternoon. We both have started writing in the question - enter - enter format and answering each other in different colors to make sure we get everything. I have booked my hair appointments too with the Spa Manager and she was really nice as well.

    We booked ours more than three months in advance without having all of the rooms booked. We booked the ceremony location when we signed the contract. I think I booked the reception and rehearsal dinner a little before Christmas. I get marred April 16th so I didn't book too far in advance of 3 months. I just started freaking out because everyone on here already had stuffed booked!

    Also I saw these used at a shower the other day they looked really cute. I am planning on using the bridesmaid bouquets as some of the centerpieces for the reception. I think I am going to use these vases. http://www.wondervase.com/Default.asp?bhcp=1

    Has anyone choose menu items yet? Or know how the food is? We have about 50 people so we have to do the buffet set up. We are doing a rehearsal dinner and the reception. We have 36 days to go so I guess I should start worrying about that kind of stuff!

    Also...has anyone seen a wedding video from their videographer? I know it's cheaper then someone in the states but I don't want to waste using the hotel points on the DVD if it's not any good.

    My TA told me everyone should be in the same section. Except the two families coming bc they have family suites. I am just worried about it being to big and everyone not being able to find the same pool and all that.

    Have you told them you are using an outside photographer? I am too and I was just wondering what their rules were about that. I mentioned to my WC that I was bringing some of my own decorations and she said there was a set up fee for that...about $55. It's one of my friends that is staying for 4 nights so I might not even bring it up to them.

    Has anyone heard anything about the videographer? I wasn't planning on getting one but my Grandparents and some of my cousins can't come to the wedding so I thought it would be nice so they could see the ceremony.

    How many people does the one layer cake serve? Also, I thought this was picked out when you got there. Are you just planning ahead?
