How did everyone pay for the wedding? Did you pay ahead of time or when you got down there?

I can't figure put how to post pictures!! I read the directions in the how-to forum, but the only option it gives me is uploading a pic through a website, not a file on my computer. Does anyone know what I'm doing wrong?

Kudos to all of you that did your own passport invite. I attempted it and gave up my first one. Just don;t have that crafty touch! They look great!

I ordered my invites through Zazzle.com. The site is really easy to use and inexpensive. The only downfall was they don't offer envelopes through their website. I'm goign to order those through Cardsandpockets.com. I waiting for them to come in so I can post pics.

Their prices are great. I'm afraid to order anything too soon though because it might be outdated by the wedding. Has anyone had that happen?

Hello everyone! 5 months to go! I'm getting married Sept 3 at the Majestic Colonial in Punta Cana. I ordered my invitations and I'll be sending them out mid-May. My dress comes in in 2 weeks. It's all starting to feel real now. Congrats to everyone and good luck with your plans.

We're staying 10 days in Punta Cana. We're going down on Saturday and leaving the following Tuesday. Everyone else is coming Wed-Sun for our wedding which is on Friday. So, we're having a prewedding honeymoon...We figured we could get down there get everything situated for the wedding and enjoy a couple of days to ourselves.

That's true, it is more stuff to carry. But I know at the resort I'm going to it would be an extra $600 to have the cocktail hour with food. I say go for it and bring the candy with you. I love the chocolate fountain idea.
