Caroline getting married

sounds great- I'm trying to find a resort for our wedding in Thailand - how did you decide on your resort- there's so much choice! I know your friends had their's at the same resort but did you look around too? We're after a beach front location but I'm worried Koh Samui might be a bit too commercial .... (we've never been!) any tips would be welcome!

Hi I'm looking for the perfect wedding destination in Thailand but have never been so am finding it really hard- we want a resort on the beach where 60 of our friends and family can stay, pools, beach bar, kids club would be great and a ceremony in the resort gardens- are we being too picky?!! We'd also like some infrastructure around the resort- a few restaurants and bars to choose from but not too much- chaweng beach koh samui for instance sounds a bit too touristy- can anyone help?
