  1. I found that necklace at a show we have here in Toronto called The One of a Kind Show - its where independent artists set up booths and sell their stuff. If you are looking for something a little unique and different check out etsy. Good luck!
  2. Gorgeous Barbra Allin Wedding dress purchased from Becker's Bridal in Toronto, ON (Feb 2011). This dress was only worn for 3 hours so it is in brand new condition (no stains, tears, etc.) It has a sweet heart neckline and has rouching. There is a beautiful flower detail on the left hand side just below the hips. Buttons run down the back. This dress is made of raw silk so it is very lightweight and comfortable but you still have a full bottom. Here are the details: Style #: 7781 Colour: Dark Natural (more ivory than stark white) Dress Size: 6 The dress was altered to the following measurements: Chest: 34 Waist: 28 Hips: 37 I ordered the dress with extra length because I am tall so it was altered to my height of 5'10" and I went barefoot as it was a beach wedding so there is plenty of lenght to work with if you are shorter. There is a french bustle that has been added that has 3 points of pick up and gives a nice finishing touch. Paid $1800 plus $400 in alterations...asking $1000 CAD plus shipping. If you have any questions, please just ask. Thanks, Nikki

  7. We went from May 13th to May 22nd. We got married at 11am on May 17th. The weather was unbelievable.....it only rained for 15 minutes in the middle of the afternoon on the 20th. We couldn't have asked for better weather. If you get married in the morning the colour of the ocean is the most vibrant. Here a few pics to give you an idea of the back drop you would have...

  12. I honestly don't know as we did not use her for videography. She was at our resort quite a bit during our stay shooting other weddings and I only ever saw her taking pictures. I didn't even know she has a videography website. If you still want to get a hold of her I would just contact her through her regular website - she was also really good about returning emails quickly.
  13. Thanks ladies!! Its nice to have such lovely pictures to remember our time there. Right now I am going thru withdrawl...
  14. Both my husband and myself did not have the long version of our birth certificate - just the short form, the one that looks like a card.
  15. We were lucky enough to not have been charged since we knew the lawyer. I know if you use a notary service that you find online they sometimes have a flat fee or charge per page. The fees vary - its nothing crazy expensive but if you can get a lawyer to do it for free even better!!
  16. I just got back from my our wedding in Negril and we had the privilege of using Stacey Clarke. I realize you want a highly skilled and professional photographer and she is just that, but she is also an incredibly nice person. Within minutes of meeting her I was so comfortable with her seeing all the special moments of our day - it was like having a friend shoot your wedding. We have only received a few pics so far....
  17. Hi there, I just came back from getting married in Jamaica. Although I didn't get married at this particular resort the same requirements apply at all resorts as it is a requirement by the Jamaican government. Notarized and certified are the same thing. I photocopied all my documents and then took the originals with the photocopies to a lawyer and he put his notary stamp on the photocopied documents saying they are true duplicates of the originals and then set that. Hope this helps.
  18. Thanks! I picked up the dress last night and its hanging waiting for the big day when we leave tomorrow for Jamaica...I cannot wait to put it on
