    My FI will have a fit if I do not have this ring on and we are getting married. I will make sure before we leave to take it to the jeweler to get it cleaned.

    No I am not taking his name and neither am I hyphenating it. I will continue to have the same last name.

    Thank you all for your input. I was starting to think I was the odd girl out. lol I had not heard of it until my WC with the resort told me about it. I then later became a member of this site and really learn what it meant.

    I see alot of threads about TTD. I just wanted to know am I the only one that has no intention on trashing my dress or buy an extra dress to trash?

    If money were no object then they would start with us here in the states, on the flite, and so on from start to finish(us closing the bedroom door the night of the wedding).

    I have been to some islands already and knew I did not want to get married there. There was only one island that I had been to before that was even cosidered and that was St. Martin. That was ruled out because of the information I found on the internet about getting a marriage license/waiting period.

    I have only been on here for a little bit now, but I notice there is not information and/or people getting married in Barbados. Does anyone get married there? I am starting to think I picked the wrong island.
