    I made mine a few weeks ago. My FI originally thought they were kinda 'dumb' But every girl that I have talked too LOVES the idea. Must be because we never have pockets to carry our stuff! Once I explained that to FI he was on board. He hates having to carry my stuff. Now he thinks it's a great idea

    Thanks for the breakdown. I am making sure that I print off all my email correspondence to take with me, and then I will fine-tooth the bill once I get it.....although, who am I kidding...I may be tipsy on island drinks and sunshine the whole time

    I had to call them as well, it kinda worked better for me because I was able to get them to send it in a flat-rate shipping box instead of Fed ex (ended up being about $14 cheaper for me). They were great to deal with. I was also able to make sure that they just listed 'decor' on the package so we wouldn't have issues with the border. Good luck Â

    Just thought I would let you Canadian brides on here that I got my starfish in the mail yesterday and they look fab! I ordered 55 at $1 a piece, and paid $26 for shipping. The same starfish at Michaels here are $6.99 each. I think I got a pretty great deal YAHOO!

    Oh my GOD! I don't even know what to say! I am having a hard time understanding how sometimes people can ask for so much and think it is ok. I feel so bad for you, you obviously love her and don't want to cause any hurt feelings. All I can say is that I completely think that you are justified in all that you are feeling. I would be feeling exactly the same way that you are. WHY are her colours so similar too?!! I'm surprised that she just didn't ask to have the wedding at the same time!

    **** SCREAM!!!! **** I just spent my ENTIRE afternoon working on wedding menus, welcome letter, and tags in my WORD program..... and NONE of it saved!! I could KILL someone!! Arrrrrrrrgh!!!!!

    Our ceremony is at 2 as well. I was a little stressed about the time in between the wedding and reception, but figured that they can suntan, drink and swim until the cocktail hour. They'd just better be there on time!!

    I just ordered starfish from California Seashell Company. You can call them and leave a message, or send them an email, and they will take your order over the phone. I couldn't get the ordering to work online, so I called and they returned my call by the next morning. They also list 'decor' on the shipping package to alleviate any customs issues.I just ordered some finger starfish from them and they were great to deal with. Really good about finding the cheapest shipping option as well. Â

    We have booked MayanVibes, DJ Bijan for our DT wedding in November. Anyone here ever use him? He seems great, his prices were the best that I found in the Riviera Maya area, and he was very quick in his replies. Just haven't seen anyone on the forum use him before, so just curious.....
