  1. This great. I know these posts are pretty old, but it was exactly what I have been looking for! Thanks ladies!
  2. I woke up this morning and remembered that yesterday I did all my welcome letters, key card holders, info sheets, Oh sh*t kits!, and 4 hair flowers..... and my menus are halfway done. I feel very productive
  3. Looks fab! The bags really look great, perfect for the beach
  4. Hi there Here is his website www.mayanvibes.com  I was quoted $500 for DJ services from 6pm until 10:30. We gave him a $100 deposit through paypal. He provides the set-up, music and lights. He also has a mic etc and will announce dances, cake cutting etc and it is available for you to use for speeches if you'd like. He is super quick to answer email. He asks for a list of songs that you enjoy in order to customize your playlist, and also a list of any songs you 'do not want played'  Here is his email address [email protected]  Good luck
  5. Wow! I didn't even do invitations :S I just sent out an email and did the website...... sometimes I wish I had done them though. Yours look fabulous!
  6. Are these off of ebay? If so, who was the seller, and how much were they? My BM's would love them!
  7. I think it's a great idea! Destination weddings are all about new ideas.... go for it!
  8. Â I agree. Including all of them in the preparation of the day, or time at the spa will be special enough. I have 3 adult age sisters, and FI has 1, and none of them are in my wedding party.... and I LOVE them all. I just needed to draw the line somewhere! Â
  9. I shudder every time I find out about another 'hidden charge'. I just keep reminding myself that it is costing us SO much less to have a destination wedding as opposed to a huge event in our hometown. It still kinda sucks though!
  10. Lots of great ideas! November is coming quickly..... I'd better get moving!
  11. I have been wondering the same thing. Centerpieces are soooooooo freakin' expensive at the resort!
  12. This one of my favourite sites on this forum. So glad I found it!
  13. Â Interesting! I am going to check these out! Thanks! Â
  14. I really wanted to get mugs for everyone, but I feel like my luggage is getting more and more full every time I turn around.... and the bank account is getting emptier and emptier I will see whether I can hold myself back..... wish me luck!
  15. Just have to thank you again! The article was exactly what I have been looking for. Long as hell! but really thorough!
  16. The dress is beautiful. It looks similar in difficulty level to many of the replicas that I have seen and they have all turned out beautifully. I think that it will be fine. Good luck, and I'm looking forward to seeing the finished product! Â
  17. Any past brides do / future brides doing a signature cocktail? What types of alcohol do they have at the bar? Pretty much everything? Do they have many specialty liquor and liquers? I am trying to come up with some kind of special drink.....HELP!
  18. Spanx are the best invention ever! I wore them to a wedding in Maui and didn't find it to be uncomfortable at all....... and I am the type of person who wears the least amount (still remaining decent, of course!) of clothing possible when it is hot outside!! I am pretty sure that I will be wearing them under my wedding dress. The only issue is when you have to go pee.... maybe I'll wear them for the ceremony and the pics and then strip them off later for the reception.
