  8. One week until we leave for Mexico and 10 days until the wedding!!
  9. These bags rock! You did a great job, while keeping the cost down! Kudos to you!
  10. I found this awesome vendor today in a blog. She hand paint's shoes for brides! http://www.figgieshoes.com/
  11. For those of you who have gotten married at SMB, what area would you say is the prime location for the dinner reception? The map below is what the WC sent me for their options. I was considering the Pool Terrace, but I wanted to see what you all thought first! Thanks!
  12. We did the same thing as you....the times we wanted on Saturday were already booked, so we changed to Sunday. I think it's better to have the time you want, because that sets the tone for the wedding events for the day! When you're on vacation it doesn't matter what "day of the week" it is
  13. From what I have been told by the WC, it is $100 per person for vendors. Which is also the same as the $100 day pass fee, so you will end up paying regardless.
  14. Hi everyone, For those of you already married, can you provide your insight: Did you choose to have your dinner reception in one of the restaurants or did you have a private event? Why did you make the choice you did? Would you have done it differently in hindsight? If you did choose the restaurant, was your reception semi-private or was your party intermingled with resort guests? Any information you think would be helpful for those of us trying to make the decision between the two? Thanks for your help!
  15. Has anyone opted to have their dinner reception in one of the restaurants versus doing a private event? If so, can you let me know how your experience was? Which restaurant did you have it at? Was it semi-private or were you intermingled with other guests? If you were doing it again, would you have done the restaurant reception or done a private event? Anything you wish you would have known beforehand? Thanks!
