Have you tried following up with the hotel directly? They tried to feed us that crap....they also tried to make us pay a higher room rate than what they were offering on THEIR WEBSITE!!! We just pushed back they were adding and taking away rooms for us the whole time. btw I had a bunch of ppl pay for "ocean view" rooms and everyone got the same room ....non ocean view. smh Also, Remember that you gave everyone enough time to handle their business and book their rooms and if they did not you can not stress yourself about it....the ppl that really want and need to be there will be there. Also there are plenty of very very close hotels all in that same area. We didnt realize but zoetry was literally 10 minutes from sensatori and you didnt have to go on to the main road to get there. Also cancun is about a 20-25 minute ride away not very far at all they can come to the wedding and stay at a different resort. question did the resort only give you 2 months to put down a deposit? we were given 4 but we also put down some of the money to do that but we had to fight for it.

not sure if you're getting married on the sky deck or not but beware lol I used tall glasses and 4 broke in transit to the wedding 1 broke while they were setting them up and another one toppled over during the ceremony while my mom was walking down the aisle LOLOL so if you use them make sure there is something heavy weighing them down so that the wind doesnt knock them over =)

We wrapped them in either bubble wrap or clothes and put them in our luggage ( we split them up in different bags so it wouldn't be so heavy using 1) ...I think 1 broke so you may want to bring 1 or 2 extra.

We had the BBQ for our Welcome Party the night before the wedding it was pretty good and alot of food for all of our guest. Regarding the alcohol just make sure you ask for it ...If i'm not mistaken I do remember seeing grey goose but that may have been at my other resort so ill ask a few of my guest...they spent plenty of time hanging out at the bar LOL

We actually bought our own lights but they provide them as well...just verify this with your WC =)

We actually went to the dollar store purchased 8 picture frames for our table and printed pictures of ourselves at each age. ex. the top said "Here we are at age" and then the table number 3 and then we had a picture of me and him at age 3...I wish I had a picture of it but I dont for now...I'll try to ask around for one I havent heard of the resort providing it but I'm sure they may have something but I'm also sure you'll probably have to pay for it too...

Awww thank you so much yes the bottom of the gown is all tulle. We went to the fabric store purchased more tulle for my mother to stitch up the veil ($15). I absolutely loved my dress and it was such a steal I had to buy a second dress LOL. I actually purchased my gowns 2 months before I got engaged LOL I guess I just knew lol. it's probably best to research the times for Sunset during October ...depending on how much sunlight you might want for pictures that may give you some idea of a time-frame to start your ceremony

I actually got legally married back in August our church minister conducted the ceremony ...honestly I was the same way I didn't even want to get dressed up lolol....I didn't want it to take away from my REAL wedding day LOLOL it wasnt that big of a deal I personally did not feel the least bit slighted ...OUr symbolic ceremony in August was just as special as the main event in December...I wouldn't change a thing!

Zoetry was exactly 10 mins from the resort (its on the same road just continue instead of turning into sensatori) lol dont get me wrong it was AMAZING! just very secluded and quiet and I guess I was still in party mode LOL the service was EXCELLENT I would def go back ...just with like 20 books to read LOL No they didnt charge me extra for the sky deck ...it can seat up to 80 ppl so up to 80 is free =) I absolutely loved that we had such a big group ...we took over the resort LOL there was hardly anyone there lol I'm sure you'll be fine in october no worries Dont stress too much ...I learned not to set my expectations too high to save myself from any let downs and that's what I did and everything turned out perfect.

Oh woww so pretty I love it!!! I wouldn't have known that they were braids if you hadn't said it lol But yea I'll try to look up some youtube videos of how to do it (split cap) b/c seriously it is very easy and I am no hairstylist lolol my girlfriend showed me (who also is not a hairstylist) a few years back while I was letting my hair grown back from a short cut and I wore them for a whole year....I did have the edges issue b/c I was gluing the cap to my edges but I figured out a way to keep all the glue on my cap (esp on the sides) and very minimal at the top to reinforce.

When I asked about it in my beginning stages it was around 12 buxs a chair....I had a really big group so I opted out. YOu probably won't see it in a price list...I found out here on the forum and then asked my WC.

Hhahaha yes it was a blast lolol Mojito lounge was very cool on top of the fact that they had every kind of Mojito imaginable lololol we partied there one night and it was soo much fun....The teen club is more of a hangout spot they have games a pool table, air hockey and dance revolution =) They prob had even more but by the time I made it to the teen club I was drunk so my memory is a little off LOL The teen club was the hangout before everyone ended up in my room...Honestly I dont remember seeing very many teens there and there was definitely a huge bar where everyone just kept taking shots lol ...someone could actually have a party there ...It was definitely live and the music was HOTT!!! I really really loved the resort there was so much going on so much to do during the day ...water aerobics, painting on the beach, dance lessons, etc....And the beach BBQ was soooo good!!!! I almost wished we stayed there instead of going to Zoetry after the wedding lolol (zoetry was nice just a little boring coming from AS) I didn't get to do much b/c we had to entertain our guest all weekend but we are definitely going back to really take in all the resort has to offer!

Also for everyone that gets the 20% discount off of ALL private events ( I believe thats everyone) MAKE SURE THEY TAKE IT OFF...if it wasnt for my husband who remembered at the end they would have never given us the discount....smh

Dont get me wrong the food wasnt awful, I just thought it could have been better (but that's just me). The alcohol must have been good....I'm ashamed to say that everyone got totally wasted the night before the wedding and I woke up to a bunch of ppl in my room on the deck and plates of food from room service EVERYWHERE lololol it was sooooo funny!!! we really had a good time=)
