Our agent insisted that we had to have 10 ppl pay in full to secure the “group†package. Sunday night, the rate is $900.00 per person CHEAPER!!! I just want to cry. My agent is coming off very wishy washy and I don’t know what to do. I’m going to have the ppl that have paid pissed and miserable at my wedding and I’m not going to have anyone else come!!! Boo me!!!

Our TA said that our early booking bonus with our resort, Dreams Tulum expired Aug 28. We had to get 10 guests paid in full to qualify for a group package. The advantage to the "group" would be if they price went down before we left, we could get a one time price reductions with the tour group, Sunwing. We didn't get 10 ppl booked. We have eight, who paid in FULL. Â I've been dealing with my TA thru email mostly, spoke briefly on the phone. Anyways, she's saying now that if we don't get two more paid by December, our prices will go up. How can they go up if we've already paid in full?? Has anyone had this or heard of such a thing? Â She is totally confusing, and when i question it, the story seems to change as do the numbers and dates....

BUMP! Â How's everyone's planning going? We have 8 ppl booked for our February 2011 wedding. I have no idea what our total # will be. Everyone is being so cheap, and i guess vacations aren't priority for most of our guests.... Is anyone using the TA from here, Christine in Regina? Bought my dress a month ago, LOVE it!! I got it at CKLY on Graham. They were really great.

Our early booking bonus deadline was this Saturday and we didn't get the 10 ppl booked. Two of my guests are flying out of a different city and don't count. My bad, i didn't research enough before i went ahead and signed up with our TA. We got engaged on June 14, and the deadline was August 28. That seems so little of time to have 10 ppl pay in full, and of course that's what all my invitees think. Â FI's dad isnt' coming to the wedding. He just won't come. His mom and sis are going to rent a condo in Tulum as they think Dreams is too expensive. Another Aunty of mine is staying in Playa as they can get a cheaper hotel. I knew this would happen, but what a PITA. A few of our friends that were the most excited and we thought would FORSURE be there, haven't booked and arent' talking about it! But, we are still happy with everything and can't wait till Februrary. Looks like we'll have a cheaper wedding than i thought!!! And spend some of the money that we thought we'd have to on the guests that will be there. (Fishing trip/catamaran)

So totally blew my workouts last week on Saturday. I went to the Bon Jovi concert and we drank TOO much! So Sat, Sun, Mon no workouts. Yesterday i got back and did 1 hr Body Attack class (intense cardio). Today i'm doing Body Pump, 1 hr weights class. Damn fun weekends!!

I would be annoyed as well. It's your wedding, the entire week should be about YOU. We were going to his cousin's wedding on the Saturday, my ring arrived on the Thursday. We waited till Monday to officially get engaged because i did not want to steal her thunder. I just think it's common courtesy.

1 hr step class today. Now is the tough part, the weekend. I always slack off on the weekend and consume to many empty calories (liquor)....oops.

No we aren't doing a social either. We are born and raised Manitobans but have no interest in having ones. I know we will have a few disappointed friends and family because of it, but it's our decision! No we aren't doing a AHR. We choose the destination wedding so we didn't have do anything at home. We want it small and intimate! Anyone doing Boudoir pics? I want to do them as a gift before the wedding. Any suggestions on photographers?

I'm off to "PUMP", Goodlifefitness class. Went to the doctor today and was not happy with my weight. 132lb on a 5'2" frame! My goal is 125. Has been for the last well... year. I have 7 months to get to it!

I paid for mine. This is my second marriage. I got married 10 yrs ago at the tender age of 21 and my mom paid for that dress. I'm guessing she thinks she already paid for one, not going to another...

I just bought mine, a Jade Daniels. One shop had it priced at $998 and the other at $1398, the second store priced match and i got it! So after tax, alterations, accessories and shoes I should be able to stay under $1500 which is what i was thinking!

I'm thinking of ordering these. I'm 5'2" and he's 6'3" so i want to go for high! And with a beach wedding i don't think these will sink in the sand ok the image tags and the mountian tag isnt' working with my link, not sure why, cause i'm using them properly, i do believe! The are BEBE shoe's from VS. Strappy metallic wedge.

So she pulled a few for me and i went in and tried the first one on. It was the dress that i loved from store two!! It was a sign that that was the dress for me! I tried on about four more and myself,my mom and SIL all said that the other was the "one". Oh and the second store had it for $998 and this store was selling it for $1398, they said they would price match. I went with the third store as the staff were much more friendly and non pushy. YEY!!!!!!!
