Hands down I love the image 2840 / the Maggie dress the best! You look stunning in it! The other dress is a lovely option too, but the Maggie dress is a "wow." I like how you said it makes you feel like you are going to the Oscars... hehe. I'll prolly end up with a big ballgown for my beach wedding, BUT my philosophy is it's your wedding you are entitled to feel like (and look like) a superstar! Let us know which one you pick! You'll be a star either way!

*sigh* Thanks for posting this. I will keep this in mind when reminding people to book early! Hopefully because friends and family will be flying from all across the US the flights won't be a problem for me.

One of the offerings at my venue is a Junkanoo performance at the end of the night. While I'm cutting back on a lot of costs, I want to splurge a bit on the reception entertainment. From what I understand Junkanoo is a little like Mardi Gras/Carnival? Seeing as how I'm from New Orleans and getting married over what would be Mardi Gras weekend back at home, I'm thinking Junkanoo would be a nice caribbean style performance that would make my New Orleans guests feel right a home. Have any of you had a Junkanoo performance at your wedding? Or been to a wedding that had one? I'm trying to decide if this is worth it so any tips are appreciated! -MJ
