Hey Boo I'm still waiting to hear back from dream maker. But you mentioned that you are going for a starfish theme, thought I would let you know about the shoes I bought for my wedding. I got them at Feet First, they are sandals with a starfish on the strap. So cute. I would love to get together next week. Are we going to meet after work? What time works for everyone?

Is any one else concerned about this reaching Cuba? Who knows how much longer this will be going on. It's so frustrating that this has been going on for so long and no back up plan was in place.

Hey girls, a get together would be fantastic!!!! I live in the south but work downtown, it really doesn't matter to me. Melrose or Ceili's would be great. Has anyone been to Hudson's on 12th Ave SW It's the old Husky house. I've been quite a few times and really liked it. Just a thought

Hi Pam Good to hear that you had a good camping trip!!! Do go check out Tops, they had tones of plus sizes!!! When I was a Menas there was a girl looking for plus sizes and all the dresses I saw her in were beautiful too!!!! Good luck, there is lots out there. I'm still planning on going to a couple more stores that I haven't visited yet and if I see any more I will pass it on.

Have any of you been to Tops Bridal on 16th Ave. OMG I can't believe how many dresses they have!!!! It was great cause they have the same dress in all sizes and they have a huge selection of plus sizes too. I also went to Mena's and had a great time. Found 3 dresses that I love and can't wait to go back with my mom. Hope everyone is having a great long weekend!!!!

Hi M1984, I am currently using Romantic Planet for our booking. They have been great!!! I first starting with Laurie and now Richelle is looking after our group. I never have to wait to hear back from they and they have been soooo helpful. Meghan I love your BM dresses!!! That is the color I'm leaning towards for my girls but I have left the decision up to them. Mostly I love love your dress!!! It is sooooo simular to the one I have picked out, where did you get it? Can't wait to see more of your pics, it looks like you had a beautiful wedding, congrats!!!

What about RW&Co in the malls. The always have cute summer dresses and I know that they do BM. Just a thought

Love your planning thread Kayley and your dress, so pretty where did you get it? Boo, your dress is beautiful!!! I was at Cameo and Cuff links last week. I didn't have an appointment but they had a no show so I got to try on dresses and I think I have found the one I love. It was not at all what I went in looking for. Brandy who was helping me was absolutely fantastic, she was picking up on what I like and what looked good on me and thats how we ended up with my dress. Now I just have to wait till mid June for my mom to get here so I can take her and hopefully I can post a picture. Hope you girls have a wonderful wedding next week, must be liking the idea of getting away from this beautiful weather

Hey Beachbride Which resort did you stay at in Holguin? The unfortunate thing is there isn't a direct flight from Calgary. since we have people coming from all over canada it works out great that we will all meet in Toronto and fly out together to Cuba. So where are you thinking of getting married at?

I already know that some people will not be able to make it to cuba so it would be nice to include them in some way. But we still want to keep it a secret. Who are you getting to do your ceremony? Hello Ladies Well I have just spent most of the day reading all the posts and getting caught up. Hmmm where to start. I am getting married in Cuba in Feb. My FI and I were vacationing there this past Feb for our anniversary when he proposed. Having a DW was the only choice for me. Like Cara I have recently lost my dad to cancer and will find the whole wedding day very emotional but hope that it will be more layed back and relaxing. When we started looking at resorts I contacted a TA who is based in TO and never heard from her, it was so frustrating. I don't think she has realized that she hasn't heard from me in almost 2 months. So I ended up contacting Romantic Planet and I have to say they have been fantastic!!! We have guest travelling from Vancouver, Calgary, Edmonton, Regina, Winnipeg and Toronto. We are all flying into TO and will be on the same flight to Cuba. I have been looking for my dress. I found one that I just love but the stores that carry that designer have sold their sample. I still have not found anything else that I like as much. I'm waiting for my mom to come here to go to a few stores with me and if I don't find anything that I love than I am going to look into getting it made. Does anyone know a seamstress that they recommend? The fabric is really important to me, the design I have picked out is so simple. Anyways that is all that I have on the go for now. This has been such a big help and looking forward to hearing about all your weddings. Is anyones else getting married in Cuba?
