    Hey girls!! Hope everyone had a wonderful holiday . I'm taking my dress in to Connie's tomorrow for alterations. Can't wait to put my dress on with my shoes and jewelry I'll update you guys on how it goes if anyone is looking for a place to go to for alterations

    I couldn't find a previous thread about this and didn't know where to start one, so here it goes. I have one of my BM and MIL with birthdays durning the week we are away for our wedding. We are actually getting married on MIL birthday. I want to do something for them but not sure what or when. BM day is the day after we arrive and then MIL is 2 days after that. Help or if you have any suggestions, please pass them on Thanks!!!

    We decided to get married before we left only to save on time and costs. We have not told anyone and will ask our witnesses if they can meet us out for lunch that day and surprise them with our legal ceremony. I too don't want it to take away from our DW. The lady marrying us here allows us and 2 witnesses, any other people we have to pay. Stick to your plans and hopefully people will respect that it is your wedding and these are your wishes

    Love your dress!!!! I really like the detailing on the belt. What about a smaller belt that just has the crystals..... I think that would look awesome on the beach in the sun

    I went to Sephora for a make up trial for my wedding. The girl used an eyelid primer by Kat Von D and it works great. Plus it's only $20.

    Welcome Keri Like the other girls I am also bring my own Photographer. She is based out of Toronto. We pay for her travel as well as her session. She will be around for the week with us to do the wedding as well as TTD which I am soooo looking forward to. The pictures are really important to FI and I so we didn't want to chance it. There is a lot of information on this site. Good luck and congrats on your wedding

    I also got mine at Cameo & Cufflinks. I loved it there!!! My dress should be here in the next couple of weeks. Can't wait to see it again but then I have to go for alterations. I should be good for a night that week.

    Hey Proti I just saw your wedding dress, beautiful!!! Where did you end up getting it? I'm hoping mine will be in soon. My FI and I also went and got our bands on the weekend. One more thing checked off the list - YAY!!! Christmas might be doable but it's pretty hard if everyone is busy. We are staying here for Christmas so if we plan on a date I'll probably be able to make it

    At first I said no to shorts but the more pictures I saw of other weddings with the guys in shorts I was ok with it. This is also my FI day and I want him to be comfortable in the heat. It's the one decison that I am leaving up to him and I know what he wants and I think it will look great.

    Our GM are the same as Pam's but with shorts. I think my FI might have a different top but very casual and barefoot too. Natalie that really sucks!!!! But good to hear that it will work out for you in the end. I've heard Sunquest is famous for their changes. Hope this is the only one you have until you go!!!

    Thanks Proti, I looked at Tommy online and since we are buying the GM attire, I really didn't want to spend $100 on 1 pair of shorts It will be the last resort if we can't find anything else. Now I just have to get FI to go to a mall.....
