I am a professional saxophonist and music therapist. I am a business owner. i have my own music company, I conduct music therapy sessions (right now my clientle is mostly dementia, alzhiemers and austistic children) teach early childhood music in preschools and family classes, teach private music lessons on many instruments and I book out musicians for all occasions (weddings, corporate events, etc) To sum it up I do all things music. haha

I am a professional saxophonist and I have done many wedding using classical pieces and its very nice. So that is an option most people just think of sax and jazz but I'm actually classically trained. But have you asked you WC about musicians also i know most of the big AI resorts in jamaica have piano bars so they do have people who come in a play piano maybe thats a suggestion and you could ask your WC if they do weddings also their are some independent wedding coordinators in JA so maybe you could contact take one about musicians. Their are classical musicians its just sometimes hard to find them. hope this helps.

My mom and sister suggested we not see each other the day of the wedding and spend the night seperatly. I probably will stay with my sister which is also the MOH and we will get ready in her room. Our wedding is at 4pm but their are all kinds of things going on that us women need to do so i'm sure we will be busy and he can just spend the time with his friend and also with the kids we have a son together and he has a daughter so this can be bonding time for them while i'm doing girl things. haha

Train13, I think you should ask before. this gives them time to prepare for all the duties of being in a wedding party. Dont worry to much about them feeling pressured I'm sure if they are good friends hopefully they will let you know. And the flip side just because you wait doesnt mean that it will be better. THeir are plent of ladies on here that have had problems with wedding parities. SO I so do what you feel is right for you. @LA923 I think having two MOH's is fine I've been to weddings that had two and that was fine. If one is married you could always have a matron and a maid but if not to maids are fine. Good luck to both on your decesions.

Hello, I'm not getting married at rose hall. But I think that most places you have to create your own program for your ceremony. Your wc probably was just talking about a general iternary that lets you know whats going to happen but if you want a program with your bridal party and order of the ceremony, and etc. thats something you create yourself. And for your welcome dinner what you could do if this is a AI resort is just have everyone meet at one of the restuarants (see if you can reserve for your group) if they say know and the group is too big you can always try to get some tables reserved at the buffet by having the some members of the group go down eraly when they open and get tables. Hope this helps a little bit.

Hello everyone, I am getting married at one of the breezes resort in Jamaica which is a superclub resort and they only allow their photography and video I was nervous about using the resort photos but dont really have a choice. So I was thinking I hope they turn out good. Well I was just looking and something said just look to see if you can find some examples of their work and I found them on facebook and the pictures are actually really good. So if anyone is getting married at any of the superclubs to see examples you can type in this and find examples (Picture Perfect by SuperClubs's) Hope this helps some nervous brides like myself.

I chose 4pm i wanted a kinda of later ceremony, not too early but not too late and this is the last time of day for the resort wedding. I also wanted it to be closer to dinner time we are having a small guest list about 20ppl total including us so I want to have dinner at one of the resort restaurants. and also so its not has hot like a middle of the day wedding although in JA its still hot at 4pm and we get to have fun in the morning before we get ready for the festivites.

I'm right there with ya. Getting butterflies as I type this thinking Oh my just about 4 months to go.

Micas- I am getting married aug 20th at Breezes Trelwany in JA. thanks ladies. I'm not doing oot bags so I wont be bringing to much extra with me anyway. I was thinking about only doing maybe 3-or4 different jars of hard candy(very small bar) and then seeing what types of fruits that the resort could offer. If I decided to do it I will definatly show pics. Well my MOH which is my twin sister actually said that I have to do the chocalote fountain now cause I told her and she can taste the chocalote haha.

glad everything worked out. I have a future stepdaughter also so I know how that is the only thing is I have never met the mother because we are in different countries but she is not nice on somethings. Good luck with the wedding and yeah hurry and get that passport. Enjoy your wedding.

dont worry its a guy thing as everyone has said. Also remember as women we over pack and they just like to bring the right amount of stuff. Also if your beach people your probably spend most of your time in your swimsuits anyway. Congrats and have fun.

thanks ladies. Yeah I thought about that to. Well I actually was thinking of doing something very small since I will be supplying the candy haha, but I also thought about a regular cocktail hour where you have food and then people go to dinner and eat more food and it doesnt spoil dinner to much. so this was just a comprise. and most of the guest are not drinkers so I dont know if the bar will work. but I will try and but some more thought in it.

I stayed at runaway (thats where I met FI). this was before the renovations and FI use to work there it was very nice back in 05 and he said after the renovations its even nicer they added a few things and updated a lot. I am actually getting married at trelawny (formely starfish) I'm not sure about negril but I'm sure its nice also. Happy planning. I think if you decide either one you will have a great time.

Hello everyone, I wasnt planning on doing a cocktail hour but I have been thinking the last couple of days of doing maybe a candy bar and chocalote fountian with fruit for a cocktail hour. WHat do you think? We are only having about 20ppl total with us included. (our two kids in that total). Our wedding is at 4pm and I'm trying to get us to have dinner at one of the restuarants at 6 or 6:30. thought this might be something good and not as expensive. I will bring all my own stuff for the candy bar, just need a table and then I thought why not have the resort have some fruit just to have a little bit more. Haha it sounds good in my head.

Jennyco116, I'm glad you have so much done. I feel like I dont have anything done actually because I dont haha. But yeah I looking forward to going one because I havent seen FI in a long time. Your FI will have a great time. I am staying 2 and half weeks total were only staying 5days at the resort though. We have a son together and he has a daughter from previous marriage so this will be the first time the kids meet so we want them to get to spend some extra time together and we can spend time together as a family. Where are you staying for the honeymoon?

my FI is from JA so were only staying at the resort from 18-22 and then we will stay at his place. Dont know if you ever been to JA but you will have a great time. I havent been to MoBay except for the airport but he already told me that he is going to take me to all kinds of parrishes.

jennyco116, We have the same date. I think that cool, I havent seen anyone else I think with that date. It seems aug isnt as popular as some of the other months even for a DW.

taylorwd, My budget includes everything wedding related even the trip. So when I get the final on everything I will post. Mainly becuase I still have everything to purchase, haha (but YIKES).
