were also having a small wedding about 20 ppl. Our wedding is at 4pm so I want to just have dinner at one of the restuarnts on site hopefully around 6 or 6:30. Our package also includes the cake and champenge so maybe like a couple of you we will just have it then so guest will have something to do why we take a few photos. Then everyone is free after dinner. Its funny I was thinking about since they have a piano bar that maybe well get him to play a song for us and then we can do our first dance in the lobby (it was just a lot lol). Were not having a reception just dinner.

I know your pain. I was going to post something today about this. Me and FI are also in a long distance but its even harder for us to see each other because he lives in another country. And like you linda I am sad just thinking about leaving him after the wedding. I will be spending a couple of weeks but not looking forward to the last day. We havent seen each other in a longtime because we are trying to save up for the wedding. Getting a little sad as I type this. But it will all work out in the end and we will be able to be with our sweeties for the rest of our lives. I try to remind myself this. If we can make it for a little while a part it will be ok when were able to be together for good.

I'm getting married at a breezes resort and they do not let outside photographers in so I will have to go with the resort photographer. I am a little nervous because I cant find any info or pics from them. But I really thought the pics are very important so I hope we get some good ones.

we are having a 4pm wedding. And usually between 11-3pm is when you have showers if its not a rainy day entire day. My FI lives in Jamaica. 5pm should be a good time for ceremony then pics afterwards. Its just hard to perdict weather in the islands.

thanks, I've only seen a few pics that I saw on tripadvisor and their all at the gazebo. When I booked they sent just a few set ups at the gazebo and beach but she did ask me where and I just said the gazebo because FI wants to do the beach. Also I found a little clip on youtube but they only give three locations gazebo, beach and garden. But all in all I think it will be nice. Yeah it is hot all year. My FI is from JA so he's already complaining about staying in his suit I told him he can take it off after the wedding. haha But you are very helpful. thank you. Getting a little nervous cause now time seems as if its flying.

Thanks, Did you get married at the gazebo. I think it looks like a nice spot and also a little more secluded area where you have onlookers but they will be on the beach instead. Also is that still a sand area? It looks like it but its hard to tell from pics just want to make sure dont want to have shoes and then have to take them off because i cant walk. haha. Also what choices did you have for reception. I know they have changed somethings since breezes took over. I am having about 19 people with b+g included so I just want to go to one of the resturantes instead of a private recption. thanks.

In your checked luggage would be fine. My sister flies back and forth becasue she is in school in the carribean so she packs a lot of food and personal items, meds and things in her checked luggage and she has no problem. But I agree with the other ladies they will throw it right away if you try to carry it on. I once was flying and forgot I had a water bottle in my bag and they saw it on the scanner and made me come over and throw it away and their were also a lot of ladies they got pulled to the side and had to throw away all kids of lotions and perfumes.

Hello everyone, I just joined and I am an August 20, 2010 Jamaica bride. We are getting married at Breezes Trelawny. Its a very small weddings so I dont have to much to do. Already booked and we well probably just have a semi-private dinner at one of the resorts its only about 19 including bride/groom. Only thing is i'm trying to figure out what to have for wedding favors thinking about getting mugs with our date and then stuffing it with little things but not sure. I'm not doing oot bags. Happy planning to everyone. And dont worry to much about the weather I use to leave in south florida and my FI is from Jamiaca its not that bad you just never know. But its a great time of the year. Hello Everyone, I've been looking at the site for awhile but I just joined. I dont think I have seen any Trelawny(formally Starfish Trelawny) brides. Just wanted to know how the site and weddings there are its not much info online but I wanted a resort where kids are included and it looked really nice. I have stayed at breezes Runaway bay and it was nice so I thought it might be a good choice. Also thats where I met FI but its adults only so that wouldnt work and he also worked their so not a good choice either. But I look forward to learning for all of you.
