  1. This is BEYOND wow!! You did a phenomenal job and have planted so many great ideas! SEXXY BD pics too. Have a fabulous wedding - as I'm sure you can imagine, cannot wait to see the pics of everything after it has come together!!
  2. We have the same wedding date although it be a year apart :-) Thats sucks but like the pp said - the resorts can have any wrinkle from travel steamed right out for you. Good luck and congrats on the upcoming wedding!
  3. For all of us who were questioning "starting to plan to early" ... here's a story for you :-s So my MOH ordered and PIF for the bridesmaids dresses when she was in Boston back in February. They weren't in stock so they placed the order and told her 6 weeks til they would come in. About a month later she gets an email telling her that one of the dresses has come in .... early YAY!! That time frame plus passes and no call about the other dress so she contacts them about her dress. They proceed to tell her no the dress is not there, they have no record of her info - name, payment invoice etc My MOH is now losing her mind trying to find the receipt but thank GOD she held onto the email they sent her about the 1st dress coming in. To make a long story short ... I can totally be like, "RELAX Ali, we have all kinds of time for these bumps and will laugh about this in a year." Something tells me if we were to fast forward 6 months - I might not be quite as cordial LOL Anyhoo, not only do I not think there is such a thing as planning too early - after this, I highly recommend it :-) It made the difference between this being a ranting vent and an oh well thank goodness I started early post LOL
  4. Hi there - May 8th, 2011 bride to be :-) Can't believe we're almost to the year marker. Love that there's a May 2011 thread too now :-)
  5. I think traditional is the word he was looking for maybe?? I definitely wouldn't say a church wedding is more romantic ... more formal maybe :-)
  6. I just contacted Mishka to inquire about how we go about having her do some maracas, programs and table cards designs for us. She got back to me almost instantly and is super nice. She seems like she'll be lovely to work with :-)

Tears of Joy Tissue Cards Weddingbee Classifieds Those are precious! I just sent her an email requesting 2 orders for my 2 in my 2 shades of blue :-) Thanks for sharing :-)
  8. Thanks :-) I am excited. I'm psyched that the fire dancers are booked - they'll be performing a 15 minute show at the reception for our guests. Should be fun way to break-up the typical reception :-)
  9. Excited :-) Got confirmation on my date and time for the wedding and my reception decor as well as the fire dancers ... YAY! Berrmmpp, Bermp! LOL

  11. Totally unrelated (I haven't even thought about scripts yet lol) - where did you get your monogram design. I love it - the bright colors are killer!:-)

Usually I don't mind core but today I just felt so lazy and unmotivated. I think those are the days that I make sure that I post on here ... makes me feel like I'm accountable LOL I did do it and I do love the sense of accomplishment that comes with putting another day under my belt :-)
  13. Our wedding package with DRC includes a room for the groom the night before the wedding so I'll be shacking up with my bridesmaids the night before since we'll be all doing our appt's and such together the next day anyway :-) Our ceremony is at 3 but between everyones mani's/pedi's, hair and makeup - I don't think its going to be too hard to not see each other ... we'll probably be stuck in the spa from the a.m. anyway LoL

  16. Thought I would share that I had a totally unexpected email from Ana yesterday :-) Finally confirming my date and sending the credit card authorization form for the deposit .... seems DRC wanted my money after all LOL :-)
