Opinion question: I'm ordering these Koozies for our OOT bags to keep cans cold. The front is going to bear our wedding logo. The back was going to read, "To Have & To Hold, To Keep Your Beer Cold!". I thought it was cute. Do you think using 'Beer' instead of 'Drink' is offensive to our non-drinkers. I didn't but it was a comment that was just put to me so now I'm like ugghhh. What do you guys think?

We're basically just paying the deposit ourselves and the money will be reimbursed to us when the first 10 people book. That way, we're guaranteed that rate. It's not easy trying to find a beautiful resort that is reasonably priced!! If anyone has the information that I saw someone else ask about, with the pictures of the centerpieces, bouquets, cakes, etc. Can you please send it to me? If you don't mind? [email protected] Thank you so much! Thanks :-) I popped into a TA today and she said 2350 pp withOUT a group rate. So that number will drop she said. Only thing was she could only give me rates up til April 30,2011 b/c May's rates weren't available yet. Sooo looks like I'm going to have to wait another couple of weeks before I get some accurate rates. :-s

Its a wedding so my feeling is it SHOULD be a good time :-) Our reception is on the pool deck/beach so hopefully we are far enough removed from the guest rooms, facilities etc that noise from our peeps, dj .... won't be an issue.

Other than that you're good to go.

Yet ask any of the Jamaican brides on here about their wedding and they'll tell you what a perfect tropical paradise it was (and I've been and had the time of my life)! These countries need the tourism to survive, so they do everything they can to protect the tourists from the realities. It's so sad, but true of all of these places, Mexico included. OMG - that is awful :-( I agree though. When it boils down to it tourism is a major industry in these countries so when you are talking about their livelihood ... like any other business they are going to hush up any PR nightmares. Providing I am acting sensibly and not making foolish choices, I do not feel anymore of a target in the Caribbean then I would if I visited any big city in North America.

(Sorry about the photo quality) Found them at Nordstrom Rack in the designer section for a cool $109!! In the photo they almost look a very pale light blue, but they're actually silver. It was a total Jerry Seinfeld marble rye moment. I spotted the only pair from down the aisle and all but pryed them out of this woman's hands. OK I'm embellishing, but I did almost knock someone over. LOVES them!

The sample was actually a size too small on me (it had actually been a cancellation), so my dress won't have all those crease marks in the front, it'll lay more flat. I'm also having it made with a sweetheart neckline instead. I can't wait to see it, it comes in in January! Awww you look gr8!

Engagement pictures that will be in Sept. 2. Our wedding bands 3. fiance still need his suit 4. I need to find a cocktail dress for friday evening and another one for after the reception so after party. 5. need my dress altered soon but not until late summer because I already have my dress with me. 6. Jewelry Girl you are workin it! I agree with getting as much as possible out of the way earlier. It makes the months leading up to the wedding far more less stressful. I FINALLY went for my measurements on Thursday sooooo so far: 1) Had a wedding monogram logo designed for us 2) Ordered personalized water bottle labels with the logo on it 3) Have my OOT bag vendor picked out (who also designed our logo which the OOT bags will also have) 4) Sent out the STD's 5) Got our Personlized Lip Balm for the OOt bags 6) Got our Glass Beach Photo Coasters for the Table Favors 7) Have Bridesmaids dresses ordered 7) oh yes and ordered my wedding gown Still have plenty to do though. But once I officially started receiving stuff and picked out and ordered my gown it feels more real LOL Slowly but surely its coming together :-) I'm dying to go to Tahiti. I had my eye on Bora Bora but it was CRAZY expensive so its not in the cards for us with the wedding and all. But it looks GORGEOUS!
