  1. Thanks for all those ideas! We definitely plan on doing the sand ceremony if we can find a frame that we like.
  2. I guess it all depends on what you really want. Personally, I don't want to see my FI before the ceremony... but if having the ceremony at 5PM was our only option, than yes, I would arrange to have our pictures taken before.
  3. We plan on doing the bouquet/garter toss, depending on how many single guests are attending. I'm not sure we'll have enough time for games throughout the reception though... especially if we do the bouquet/garter thing... plus, I think most of my guests won't really like games to being with.
  4. I would be more confortable with a woman photographer! I also think that a woman photographer's point of view would be different than a man photographer... I bet their shots would be different.
  5. I guess it's always stressful to go through customs... but if you have receipts for everything, there's no reason to be nervous. This thread has helped me though! Great advice from everyone.
  6. Law Abiding Citizen: Gerard Butler

There is also one out through Avon but I am not able to find it on their website. I know its not the purple dress you showed in the picture above but it is another convertible dress so I thought it might help...hope it does!! I absolutely LOVE this first dress! WOW! How cool! I'd never seen a dress like that... I am not quite sure how you get the different looks, but I'm sure we could figure it out. Thanks for sharing! Such a great price, too!!
  8. THANK YOU so much for posting this!!!! I've been looking for maracas for the last few weeks and couldn't find anything that fit our budget. THIS is exactly what I needed! YAY
  9. Has anyone bought dyable shoes?? How did you make out? I want turquoise shoes and have a hard time finding them.
  10. My fiancé wants to use 'Have I told you lately - Rod Stewart'. His parents are huge Stewart's fans! I'm thinking of having my fiancé and my mom join us during the last minute of our father|daughter dance.... and I would join my fiancé and his mom during the last minute with his dad. What do you think?
  11. I'm thinking of using 'The way you look tonight-Michael Bublé'
  12. We're having a hard time with this one... We really want to use Somewhere over the rainbow - 50 first dates... it has lots of meaning for us. We use to listen to it ALL the time when we first started dating without even thinking about a destination wedding... But it seems like most people use it in the ceremony. I don't want it to be cheesy as our 1st dance, althought it does have lots of meaning behind it.
  13. Thanks for the review! I'm still hesitating between Doremixx and DJ Mannia... so hard to choose!!! If you were hesitating between the two... what made you pick one over the other?
  14. There's an option missing on the poll: between 1400 and 1700$. Our guests will be paying between 1400 and 1600$. Right now, the prices are around 1600$... we're hoping it'll go down a bit.

I plan on using Angel-Jack Johnson for my song, but I can't find anything in the same style, beat and meaningfull for the 1st song!!
  16. Congrats!!!! Great review That's funny... I never even thought about tipping the WC! Thanks for mentionning it.
  17. What are the best stores for bridal shoes in Montreal? I want turquoise heels! Has anyone tried dyable shoes?
  18. Our colors are turquoise and orange. We aren't doing a theme... and trying not to be too beachy.
  19. Adrian sent me pictures via email. I can send them to you if you want.
  20. I booked our wedding date with the GP directly. I will book our vacation week with a TA that most of our guests will also be using. Hope that helps!
  21. We will be getting favors as a gift to our guests... I feel this is much better than doing the OOT bag for us. We will be getting everyone maracas (I think!) for the place seating... plus, we are thinking about getting some miniature bottles of tequila or mexican hot sauce or something typically mexican... plus, hopefully we can buy it when we get there or have it shipped to the resort (if allowed) and won't have to travel with it all!
  22. Gah...I'm already dreading it... We haven't started booking yet, but I'm sure that'll be the biggest problem we'll have!!! People don't understand that it's hard to plan without anyone booking!!!! We've had about 30 people already who've said they were coming... but we can't really make it official until people actually book.
  23. I am still undecided on buying a 2nd dress for our TTD session... For some reason, I just can't bring myself to trash my actual wedding dress! I know I won't wear it again and I agree that the pictures would be great if I was wearing the same dress... I do worry about the dress still being wet when we get on the plane and having problems with it, though. Our TTD session in on the Friday and we leave on the Sunday. What about those of you who are staying for an extra week for your honeymoon? Do you send your dress with one of your guests, say your mom?

But I dont understand Spanish so not sure what it's saying. The same thing happened to me when I tried to fill the form out (when I was considering the Grand Sunset Princess for our wedding...) and I sent them an email and got a reply within the same day. I believe I found the email address right on the website where I filled the form or somewhere on here in the GSP thread. I don't have access to my personal emails here at work, or I would have give you the wedding coordinator's direct email address. Good luck!! They were great to deal with.
