I agree with the girls... your dress looks gorgeous on you!!! How do they dare telling you to loose a few inches! How unprofessional... It's their job to take the measurements right and order the right size, you shouldn't have to pay for their mistake. I hope everything works out!!!!

We initially planned to get married in RM on Easter weekend as well but I soon found out that many of the vendors I wanted to hire weren't available during that weekend... make sure you check that out.

I like #1 the best, but if it's going to be too warm under that dress, my vote is for #3

We are getting married in Riviera Maya and you have to be there 3 business days before being allowed to get married, not counting the day of arrival. We are arriving on the Sunday and getting married on the following Thursday. All of our guests are ''suppose'' to arrive on the same day so no one has to leave the day after the wedding. We'll have 2 whole days of hanging out before everyone leaves. It's worth checking out the laws on getting married and how long in advance you need to be there for... If we would arrive on a Friday or Saturday, we could only get married on the following Thursday and then would have to leave the day after the wedding... not cool, in my opinion.

Lady_Di's thread got me thinking... I got in touch with Quebec's Justice Dept. and it doesn't seem that complicated to get your wedding legalized once you get back from Mexico. From what I gathered, you need to get your marriage liscence translated, fill a form, and voilà . Plus, we don't get to change our last name here... Am I wrong? I'm sure some Canadian brides on here could give me some advice?

Hi! I'm having a hard time finding ideas for aisle decorations... We are getting married in a gazebo and there is no sand to stick stuff in. I originally planed on doing pompoms: But since I'm not able to stick anything in the ground... that idea won't work. I guess I could always attach it to the side of the chairs... what do you think? Any other ideas? What did you do for your aisle? We will have our petals like this: Not sure about the aisle runner as the resort only has a red one and I don't really like it... I'm not sure about making my own either! (I did a search and didn't find a thread like this... hopefully I'm not double-posting a topic!)
