  1. Does anyone have a cute saying for the key card holders? We are going to have some kids and teens at our wedding, so I didn't want to use the one that talks about getting "soused" (although I love that one!). I looked around, but didn't see anything else. Any help would be great! Thanks!
  2. That www.vistaprint.com DOES show up on your bags, I believe, -- but you can pay like $1.99 to have it removed or something like that if I remember correctly.
  3. I got clear velum oot bags and printed on them is our name, place and date. I'm going to get "beachy" tissue paper to put inside them and then all the goodies.
  4. We were going to have someone (probaby a family member) hand them out as people come to the ceremony.
  5. Hello! Congratulations and welcome to the forum! You will find tons of helpful information here!
  6. Congrats and welcome to the forum! This place will be very helpful!
  7. I just order one each time I get a mailing. I only have 25 people coming to our wedding, so we don't need as many, but I figured I have like 9 1/2 months left and I just order the tote bags every time I see them for free.
  8. This is my first attempt at uploading a photo, so hopefully you are seeing it below!
  9. Hi Jodi! And Congrats! Welcome to the forum!
  10. I would simply tell them as you did more research, the amount of work and money that a large wedding required, you and your hubby-to-be talked about it and decided that's not really what you wanted - you wanted something more intimate and after researching it more, a DW seemed more like what you guys wanted. If you are planning on having a shin-dig for the family when you get back (say a picnic or something), you could tell them you're going to have pictures or even a slide show available so everyone can see you and your hubby walking down the aisle. Just an idea. Ultimately, I have learned that this is about you and him so you have to do what make you two happy.
  11. Vlynnw: We purchased the trip insurance (ours cost $99) - we figured with the wedding this far out (we booked more than a year ahead of time) we couldn't risk if something unforseen would happen - so just went for it.
  12. Great review, Kelly! Thanks for the info! I'm going to PM you a few more questions in a minute since you live near me (I'm in New Cumberland). Your Tropical Images pictures are beautiful! Congratulations!
  13. Welcome! We planned our destination wedding in Turks & Caicos (Beaches Resort) 12 months before our wedding (which is in May 2011) and I know there were some other weddings planned around that time already -- so it can't hurt to find where you want to go and book at least the date and wedding time now. When we booked, we had to put a deposit down.
  14. I don't think you're too late either! Best wishes!
