  1. I was thinking the same! I'm going to do a room directory but no pictures/words.... we have 79 guests and I think it will just be too much for everyone to read!
  2. I think it depends what you want for your day and how many people you are having. We are having 79 guests and I wanted to bring my own photographer and really be able to customize my wedding day - so I opted to use an on-island co-ordinator (Island Bliss Weddings in St Thomas - can't say enough good things about Janelle, the owner) and we rented the ships Steakhouse out for the entire evening (renting half is optional as well but we needed the whole space with so many guests). Doing it this way will cost us about $7200 (rough estimate) including ceremony, reception & alcohol.
  3. I have written: Stephanie & Colin will be married November 1, 2011 in St Thomas USVI Please join us for a celebration upon our return Date & Time
  4. From our family that cannot come to my coworkers, everyone has been ecstatic to hear we are having an AHR and even more so when they find out the bridal party will be in their wedding attire. On my invites I wrote "celebration" and mentioned it is "hors douerves". We also wrote that it is from 5pm-9pm so people know it is not an entire evening thing, more casual. I can't wait to continue celebrating with those who can't make it on the cruise!
  5. I love those! Did you print with your inkjet or a professional printer? Envelopements are the best!
  6. I'm getting married in less than 3 months in St Thomas via Carnival Liberty - the second sailing post-dry dock! I will be sure to post excessive amounts of photos for you all to see! If there are specific photos you want please let me know and I will make a list and be sure to take them. It has been so hard for me not having pictures of the view of the Steakhouse when you walk in, as I can't quite picture the layout of our reception/cake table/guest book table. I know I would appreciate someone doing this for me, so I'm happy to do it all for you future Liberty brides. Just send me an email - [email protected]
  7. Some great ideas, thanks! I think I will use: Please reserve ____ chairs on the pool deck Sorry we can't make it - have a pina colada for us!
  8. I'm not a Maggie bride (I'm an Enoani bride) but I just wanted to say you look stunning in your dress!
  9. I've ordered these -- http://www.stylefind.com/Betsey-Johnson/-/1-ZAPP-775481913087/Iridescence-Pink-Glitter Now to be sure that my dress can be lengthened for these 4.5" heels! I will of course be wearing flip flops on the beach.... the pink glittery shoes are more for photos and the beginning part of the reception!
  10. This is what we wrote: First and foremost, we would like to stress that our present is your presense. We are so grateful for those of you that have chosen to join us on our special day, travelling so far to witness us get married in our dream location. We realize that some may still wish to give us a congratulatory gift however, and we are appreciative of that. From there I included the registry information...
  11. The dress is gorgeous on you! It is a modern style with some classic elements and shows off your curves beautifully! I am a huge fan of jewelled sashes so I think you should add one (I'm having one that cost $400 at the bridal store custom made by BCGirls on Etsy for $125! Funny enough they took the picture of me wearing my dress and the sash and made it a regular listing - the "Maggie" belt - I kinda think they should name it after me! LOL)
