This is a tough one, but I think it comes down to how you envisioned things. Maybe if you are set on just you and your mom walking down the aisle together, then comprimise and give him the father daughter dance, or niether if your relationship is not very close at all. You have to do what you feel is right in your heart. Good luck!

Does anyone else out there have this problem, it is killing my diet. I used to live in the mountains (Colorado), and I never ate the stuff, I hated it. But I moved to the city to go back to school and started eating it on a regular basis. I have gained so much weight from it, and now I am trying so hard to stop eating that stuff because I want to look fabulous for my wedding, but I am having the hardest time. I had an easier time giving up cigarettes than I am giving up fast food. Is anyone else out there struggling with a Fast food addiction, maybe we could start a support group. lol

Welcome to the forum, I am also looking in the same area and it is so overwhelming. I am just sorting through the resorts one by one, and each day I keep adding more and more to my "no" list. I want to narrow the list down to 4-5 for our site visit next year, but it is a very time consuming process. This forum has by far been my best resource! Just try not to get to overwhelmed, and good luck on choosing a perfect place.

You have to decide what is more important to you and your FI, the setting that you have, or who will be able to come. And if you do change, will they still come? It is hard, but ultimatly it is up to you. We chose a destination wedding knowing that not everyone would be able to come, but we chose to do this because it's our wedding, and our dream. You need to follow your heart, and not worry about other people's worries. They have over a year, so they can make it work.

I like the DB dress because the beading that goes down the back and around the front is so beautiful. Plus it is still simple for a beach wedding! I would be weary of a dress that you cannot try on because it could look so different on you than it does on the hanger, or the model.
