do you guys plan on renting chairs like that? I inquired about chairs othethan the white covered ones and Jacy stated that I could rent different chairs but the covered folding chairs are used for the weddings......did you guys get different info?

if you just type in the search bar bridal veil you will get a ton of them

OMG so sorry Wendy! Wow you've got a great attitude! Leave in 20 day WHAT! It all good! My to do list is actually getting more managagable----off for 4 days at the end of the week! We plan on wrapping things up (mostly) as far as the DIY projects, packing the OOT stuff etc----then we can just concentrate on getting our clothes pack and going to my 100 appointments ie:hair, facial, waxing blah, blah, blah!

Wow you where lucky to receive them......I ordered a bunch a couple months ago......never reeived them, had to open a dispute thru AMEX because they would not respond to numerous attempts to contact them! Glad it work out for you

I got an email from Jacy that she will be out of the county on a personal trip over the the week of our wedding.....LOL! Oh well, I got a very nice email from "Sandra" stating she would now be meeting of our needs including our guests needs for week! I've arranged a few things with Jacy that I just hope she documented and passed on! Guess Jacy take vacations too!!!

I know $200 isn't too bad but the dress is sooooooo simple not at all traditional---strapless, no frills beads, no waistline and it was only $400.......lol......got to love it! Looks like it just needed a small hem when I bought it, UNTIL WE (sister and I) put me under a microscope!!! LOL.....only go down this road once right! Oh and PS....an $80 slip because I felt like it was see thru! You are so right that it could be worse....at least it fits.....wouldv'e start fresh!!! Nothing is going to de-rail me know.......WE ARE ON THE HOME STRETCH!!!!!

all individual dosed---advil, pepto, alka selzer roll of tums, gatorade powder, wisp brushes, breath drops, antibacterial wipes, bandaids, bacitracin and alcohol prep pads. I wish I thought of the nip of some tequila....but they are done!

I have had the email problem a couple of times. I am in contact with the WC, manager and the concierge----now if I don't hear back from them within a week we have made a plan that I will resend my last email telling them I have not received a response. On both occasions when I thought I didn't receive a response they had responded the very next day......I know this because they send the email as an attachment and it's date and time stamped. Ugh.....frustrating but I working it!

Thanks for the support girls! I think it's all worked out (for us anyway!) My FI took sometime returning the call.....then said call me "when you can talk." They must of sensed that it wasn't anywhere near "Ok" with us. So for now it is a none issue. When cocktails are flowing I'm sure there will be a little dig throw our way. I really don't care! NO NO NO thank you very much!!!!

We didn't even do invites! That is how intimate our list is.....we personally spoke with every person who is coming! If she comes I just don't think that we could not have her at the reception although is not invited!

I'm bumping this thread up to get some feedback.....we are freaking out! Last night we get a voice mail from my FI brother/BM. Wants to bring his mother-in-law to Mexico. Wait change that......"mother in law WANTS to come to Mexico to babysit there children at nighttime, don' worry she'll pay her own way" WTF! Number #1 his MIL doesn't even talk to us whenever we are around as a matter of fact she doesn't even talk to anyone.....she's weird and it's very awkward being around her! #2 we are having around 40 people all of which are either immediate family or friends that are like family.....we feel it's a very intimate group and want to keep it that way. Anybody have any advice or experience? Alot of the upset is personal w/ this woman......we ran the scenario with other friends or family and would be ok with a couple others bringing there "friendly, social BABYSITTERs" If she comes we would never say she couldn't come to the wedding reception, we wouldn't feel right about it. UGH! One last thing.....we plan on doing a signature frame at the reception, having the photog take a group picture and putting that in the frame------We don't want her in the picture but what do you say? UGH!!!!!!!

I was in Cancun one year for Cinco De Maya the bartenders didn't even know what we were talking about! It's a made up american holiday to sell corona I think.......LOL!

As far as the OOT bags for the men I ordered nylon draw-string back packs off of ebay....payed under $20 for 6 of them! My bags for the rest of the guest are definately not appropriate for the single guys. As far as what I'm putting in them......my items are pretty neutral:beach towel, travel candle (coconut lime scent), koozies, hangover kits, candy and CDs. I believe that the only linens included in the package are the white clothes, napkins and covers for the chairs. You can find sashes on-line for cheap.....do a google search for wedding linens. Also Jacy said that we could rent any colored linens if we want. Welcome to the forum!!!!
