I absolutely disagree!! My fiance and I stayed there this March while we were looking for wedding venues. We LOVED the Malia. Cecilia (wedding coordinator) is wonderful, and the food was GREAT. We were upgraded to an Ocean Front room, and loved every morning waking up to whales jumping right out of our window. It's practically a private beach, and beautiful remodeled lobby. We saw 6 other hotels... the Barcelo would have been our #1 choice, because of how gorgeous the grounds are, but it was out of our budget. I wanted to have a venue that our grandmothers would feel relaxed and comfortable, but also our late 20's friends. There's something for everyone there, and it was all about relaxing and enjoying our family and friends for the weekend. Definitely not old and boring.

Hey ladies... I'm a newbie. We got engaged in January and will be getting married in San Jose Del Cabo on February 19th, 2011. We've booked the Melia Cabo Real, and are very excited to make it official!
