  1. Mexibride83, I am on the same boat with u! trying to control the budget (not paying more than I can afford) at the same time...trying to accommodate my guests. I know so many people ended up with a big wedding and some debts after their weddings. All I want is a super romantic wedding with close family and friends, not relatives that I don't really know. However, some of my close friends have kids, so I have to pick a family friendly resort ( I would prefer an adult only resort...oh well).
  2. I am very confused of the hotel's policy on external photographer. Some brides said we need to pay $300, some said just book a room for 1 or 2 nights.
  3. I designed mine on my own, because I find it is more personal than using some generic template or hire someone to do it for me. Of course, it is not as nice as others, because I am a portfolio analyst, not a professional designer. However, both me and my fiancé love it!

The point is to make sure that only people who are activer on the forums get the "privilege" of opening attachments, etc. Thanks Mexibride83! I will do as much as I can to reach the "junior member" status. Or just pay that fee to get there. Luckily, my date will be in June 2011, so only 5 posts per day....and I can get to the Junior member status pretty soon!

Make sure all your guests are staying within the same resort, if not, they may have to take 1-2 shuttle trains to get to GBP Tulum! Don't book at GBP Coba, because it is far from the beach and GBP Tulum as well.
  6. Mrs C to Be, I am on the same boat here. I sent an email 1 month ago, got a reply like 1 week later. and since then...no reply..nothing from the Barcelo Wedding department.
  7. Raychel, Thanks for compiling all the info into an excel spreadsheet! I guess I am too new in this forum, so they don't let me to download it. is it possible to send it to me directly by email?
  8. This is one of the hotel that I am looking at. The location is perfect, but I read that sometimes, it can have a lot of kids running around. Is it true? The Dreams Tulum seems a bit too far (2 hours from the airport) In addition, since it is new, I wonder if there are any review from brides who got married there?
  9. Congrats! there are so many hotels to choose from. I am so happy for you that you picked one.
