Yes, a lot of fun, the captain of the boat wasn't that sure...as I was so pale and was puking before putting my mouthpiece on...before I jumped off from his boat! heehee...but the guide did his best, hold my hand to swim with me...until I was near the shark. Gravol didn't work, I guess u just have to ...not to eat or drink too much before and during the trip! as everything u put in may come out...
  2. Ok. It was amazing! however, the water can be very choppy. Like the most of the people on the boat, I got seasick (very bad)...but didn't stop me from jumping into the water and swim with them!

I got 2 gravols before the boat trip, and another one during...and I still puked myself inside out! The trip itself was great, just don't eat too much and be prepared!

I saw 4 weddings here so far, and the ones on the beach all got the light up dance floor and not the wood planks..as for the ones that got squeezed into Timeshare sales office or in front of the the ballroom area because of the rain...I am not too sure.
  5. Girls, I am currently at Royal PDC, did the menu sampling, will post pics and comments later. Zulma is super sweet! and so far the weather is very nice, except it poured last night, and the reception at the Central Garden had to squeezed into the time share sales office! I am sure I saw some of the girls' wedding during this week...heehee..they were all beautiful:-)
  6. Ok ladies... about excursions, I did snorkeling..dive...chichen Itza..Tulum...and this time I went for swimimg with Whale Sharks. Unless u are used to pregnant nausea, or wanna lose 10 lbs by puking urself inside out...don't go! but the creatures are majestic and amazing! I guess it is a once in a lifetime experience..as u won't go for a 2nd time! LOL

I also did the menu samplings..will upload the pics and comment soon!
  8. Ok, resort amazing! and location is directly at PDC...amazing...Food several a la carte restos with 1 buffet resto (no reservation required for a la carte)...amazing ( I am very picky with food!) no towel card!!so far so good! will meet with the WC tomorrow!
  9. I am currently at Royal PDC, the resort is beautiful, weather is amazing and very HOT! Initially all the package from tour operators for Royal PDC was sold out for this week, so I booked the Gran Porto Real (the kids infested sister hotel next door), now they offered $50 per night per room upgrade to Royal PDC..how can I say NO! heehee

Royal PDC and other REAL resorts do accept a $200 deposit to reserve wedding date, ceremony location and reception location. So I am set for Royal PDC, and will not book plane and room until Jan 2011!

The shoes I will be wearing have 3.5 inch heels,so should I say yes to making it 2 inches longer or not? keep us posted! I really like the Vera Wang Diana too, but after my research, most of the chinese folks can only replicate it at 80-90%...because it is a very complexe dress like yours. I got a picture of the dress made by Duosheng, and it looked like 75% alike. Due to my pickiness, I decided to choose another dress.
  13. Ok girls, time to share some dresses and pics. My friend, who is getting married in July 2010, bought an authentic LaSposa sample dress for $1000 (reg $1750) last year, and then she ordered a knockoff San Patrick Palma (a mermaid)from Ebay for $270 including a 2m Mantilla veil with tulle and lace and shipping. Now, she loves the knockoff more than her LaSposa, will wear the knockoff as her main dress. This is the real San Patrick This is her with the knockoff dress

  17. Luckily I am on the other camp, while I eat and sleep like a pig and still weight between 85-95lbs, my FI is struggling to prevent further belly growth as I always joke that he is pregnant! mouhahaha

  20. Well, I am on the same boat, my super frugal dad said Mexico isn't his cup of tea, so my mom is sort of stuck with him. My FI's parents are divorced, his dad is in the "evasive mode" whenever my FI asks him to join us. I was so upset and angry, cried a few times, but at the end I stick to my decision! Luckily, my siblings are super supportive, my little bro will walk me down the aisle. My view is if my parents decided not come in order to save a couple of thousands, oh well, that is their loss, not mine.
