I just wanted to thank those of you that responded to my panic about the safety concerns in Mexico. After your responses and a little research of my own, I went to my family armed to defend my wedding location site. After a stressful week we are back on track and I can now continue my plans as usual! What a relief... Thanks again!!!

Does anyone have any safety concerns with everything going on in Mexico? Everything I read seems to point to the risk and violence being contained to the north near the boarder, but I don't want to be responsible for putting anyone in danger if I am missing something. Several of my guests have emailed me recently to tell me to beware. Anyone else concerned?

Jerzeygirl is correct that other girls have brought this up somewhere earlier in the thread. I also remember Sunbride mentioning somewhere approximately how long it took her to walk the aisle (using the beach gazebo by the SSG) so maybe you can search for that to time your music. Otherwise I did read that the WC will fade the music out and move onto the next song if you let her know how/when you want it done. I don't remember anyone having any complaints with this method. They must have it down since they do it so often.

Sorry that I have to keep coming back to the room topic... Can anyone confirm that all rooms have showers? I noticed they say all rooms come with a TUB OR SHOWER and bidet. I had assumed that meant rooms that are not upgraded would not have a jacuzzi tub, but one of my guests just emailed me and they thought that meant that there is a possibility that they would ONLY have a tub, which would not be very convenient. Thanks to anyone who might help me clarify this.

Thank you so much for writing this review! I am getting married at DT on Nov. 1 and I aspire to make my wedding and pictures as beautiful as yours. When you say you booked a dreams jr suite, was that a preferred suite? If not, did it have a jacuzzi tub and was it a remodeled suite?

Hi Melanie, we will look forward to hearing what proposal is like and pictures of the ring!!! I chose Dreams Tulum b/c it is kid friendly. There is a whole sticky thread dedicated to that resort under the Riviera May section of this forum. You will find so much GREAT information on that resort within the first couple of pages.
