    Hey guys my destination wedding was cancelled due to a death in the family. So, we decided to have the wedding here in Chicago. I purchased my gown from the Brides against Breast Cancer travelling dress sale. The gown is a size 12 but fits a size 6-8 street size. The color is all diamond white. The picture on the site has a rose pink sash but my dress is all white. I am asking for $550 or any reasonable offer will be considered. I will only accept Paypal for the transaction. Thanks!

    You girls can also check out this company called New Levels Decor. They are based out of Kingston and the pictures on there facebook page are really nice. Like Preston Bailey or David Tutera style.

    I wish all of you girls the best! I hope we can help each other and share ideas. I too am addicted to Four Weddings and My Fair Wedding. My FI is over those shows as well but my seven year old loves to watch them with me! LOL! I also need to lose at least 7-10 pounds so i totally understand Queen Diva. I also wish you a speedy recovery and pray you dont need surgery!!!!

    Hi ladies, I am born and raised in Chicago! But we live in the south suburbs. I work as a Medical Technologist in the Microbiology Lab at a hospital in Chicago. We are getting married in Negril on July 30, 2011. I am excited to meet fellow Chi-Town brides! Are any of you guys doing a budoir shoot in Chicago? Hey Queen Diva I see you live in the south suburbs and you are a Negril bride too!!!!

    Hi daphodil if you are having a lot of local guest I suggest trying to find an offsite location. There are some local coordinators that could help you find a location and price out everyting for you. Try Dawn Sherman from Jamacia Elegant Weddings. There are other local coordinators/planners if she doesnt work for you.

    Hey guys I met with Dawn of Jamaica Elegant weddings this past weekend during my site visit. All I can say is she is truly a sweetheart. She seems to be very professional and is very easy to get along with. She made notes of all of our ideas and was very receptive to our input. She had a printout of all our previous corespondences. She also showed us pictures on her laptop of a previous wedding she had done at the site. We toured the site and she showed us different ways she can set up the ceremony and reception. We left knowing that she is going to do a superb job with our wedding.

    Yes the golf course is beautiful. We also went to Treasure Beach and visited Jake's and Jack's Sprout restaurant. Lovely place.

    Hey Girl!!! We had a good time in Jamaica! I had the oppurtunity to meet all of my fiance's family. We met with our wedding coordinator and she is such a sweetheart. So, we have decided to go with the Negril Hills golf course. What about you guys, were you able to finalize anything? Did you make it to Negril?

    Im keeping my fingers crossed too!!!! My logo was designed my Rebecca she is a vendor on this site. Her company is called Allurements by Rebecca you can check her website she has a lot of different designs on there or she can custom design one for you. She is super sweet and easy to work with. She also responds fast to emails. A lot of girls on the site have used her and have posted pictures of there invites and STD's. Good luck to you as well!!!!     I am over here freakin out too. We leave for Jamaica on Wednesday for our site visit. I am praying that the storm passes Jamaica as well! When I checked the forecast it is suppose to rain every day of this week including the weekend. Sucks huh!
