@skygirl, I ordered a wedding dress from dressilyme and it turned out amazing. you can read my experience in this thread or on the project wedding's dressilyme board http://www.projectwedding.com/post/list/my-dressilyme-experience-with-lots-pictures. They do great dresses. the only concern about bridesmaid dress is the color. the color of knock-off dresses can be different than the picture. if I was you I would read more about dressilyme on weddingbee or project wedding board. The most recent bridesmaid dresses I have seen that dressilyme made is this one from project wedding board: http://www.projectwedding.com/post/list/should-i-order-a-bridesmaid-dresss you might also want to look at dressilyme's flickr accounts: http://www.flickr.com/photos/dressilyme/sets/72157624816144556/ and this http://www.flickr.com/photos/dressilyme/4923065920/ and this http://www.flickr.com/photos/66499353@N06/ and this http://www.flickr.com/photos/66499353@N06/6352150183/ and this http://www.flickr.com/photos/66499353@N06/6328627366/ all of these should give you a pretty good idea. I find that the quality of their work keeps on improving. some of the links are old but it will help with your decision. On another note, My mom just got a quote from dressilyme for her dress but the price was too high so she decided to use a dhgate seller instead because of her price range. I would have prefered that she use dressilyme or another seller that has been talked about on here but budget was a major factor. we got quotes from jasmine, shades of pale and dressilyme. So I guess we will see if it turns out. I will write a review of the dhgate seller when she receives the dress. Our fingers are crossed that the dress will turn out. my mother figures that it should turn out because she was so impressed with dressilyme. i told her that not all sellers are equal but she ordered it anyways.

I too, like Krys21 above, bought knee length convertible dresses from kinderbliss seller from etsy over the holidays. I bought a Plus size eggplant dress and eggplant tube tops/bandeaus. The tube top cost an extra $15 dollars but worth the purchase. Wht Krys21 said above is right about how long the straps are. I'm 5'4 and I would guess that they are almost double the length of my body. My bridesmaid had no problem with the length or width of the straps around her body. The straps cover her bust and tummy area perfectly. Her bust size is 42DD, she wears a street size 20/22 in clothing. She can wear a bra with the convertible dress with tube top and can wear it many ways. Kay from kinderbliss communication was great and I had no problems shipping to Canada over the christmas holiday either. Right now, I just ordered another convertible dress (regular size) because I was so happy with Kinderbliss. Measurements and fabric were perfect. My bridesmaid has already washed her convertible dress and it came out great because of the quality of the jersey fabric. My bridemaids can't wait to use their convertible dresses. I too would recommend Kinderbliss etsy store. I'm so glad we didn't pay for the expensive Henkaa dresses that we wanted. I'm just posting the link again just in case Krys21 link doesn't work:http://www.etsy.com/shop/kinderbliss

Cazzmataz, You picked a very lovely dress! I too respect Dressilyme and Jasmine's bridal shop for telling you that they couldn't do the dress. Honesty goes along way. I think any company will only be able do the dress around 93% because it is so unique. if you can live with that than go for it. Have to tried to see if you can get a sample or something? i wouldn't want you to be dissappointed. if you decide to go with any company you might want to pick the mid-range price because of quality issues. Also ask to see pictures of lace and embroidery thread they plan on using. Communication is very key here and either way it is a risk because it is not going to be the exact same. Both duosheng and shades of pale have good reputations. Duosheng hasn't been on this thread in a long time so you might not find a bride to talk to on here. However, there are girls on here that have used shades of pale recently so maybe you should ask them if they have seen any creations that are close to your design. I have never read anything on that Kaerstan company on here or others boards but I could have missed it. Ask the company to show you pictures of their work that is similar to the lace you want. Good luck and order very soon so if there is problems you can get another dress or sort out the issues with seamstress. Sorry I'm not much help because I just recently used dressilyme and I was very happy with my dress. My dress does not have any lace, colour or embroidery on it so I had no issues.

Hey Jessie, I found another weddingbee dressilyme board that shows a dress similar to your dress. it is not the same but similar. if you scroll down to post made by cubicalmouse you will see what i mean. http://boards.weddingbee.com/topic/show-me-your-dressily-me http://boards.weddingbee.com/topic/i-just-ordered-my-dressilyme-dress Also I agree with Bride2012 make sure you order before chinese new year because your wedding is only 5 months away and if you need any alterations you still have time. chinese new year starts on Jan. 23rd 2012 so factories could be closed for about 3 weeks because the first 15 days are celebration days and then they have to catch up on orders and you don't want them to rush through your order because that is when a mistake can happen.

Hi JessieH, I just wanted to say that I used dressilyme and I had a great experience with them. I also noticed that you are getting married the day before me but at a different location! I wrote about my experience on here and I also wrote about my experience on Project wedding's dressilyme board. Dressilyme also has a facebook page: https://www.facebook.com/#!/pages/DressilyMe/191139167413 Here is the link to Project wedding's dressilyme board: http://www.projectwedding.com/groups/boards/dressilyme-dress-es Here is a link to one of the many weddingbee boards about dressilyme: http://boards.weddingbee.com/topic/dressilyme-review . All of these links will show dressilyme workmanship. Dressilyme does have experience with embroidery. I have seen tons of dresses with this because it took me almost two years to decide to go with dressilyme. Look through all the boards. take professional measurements. Ask lots of questions about your dress. Ask for pictures before they ship. if you have anymore questions about dressilyme I'm here to answer them. if you need to send a PM then do so. good luck!

LOKeefe, Congratulations on becoming Mrs. Vickers! So glad you had an excellent time. I was just wondering about your sky lanterns.... You said you had no problems with them, that's great news! I was wondering where you bought them? I'm a Canadian bride too and I don't know where I can purchase them. Really hoping we can do the sky lanterns as well. Thank you for the info! And Congrats Again!

Iron on Transfer OOT Bags
exquisite02 replied to JayKay's topic in Wedding Registry, Wedding Gift Bags, and OOT bags
Looks great! I'm thinking about doing iron on t-shirts for my bridal party at the very least. Glad to see that the Avery light iron on works. -
Bmilliken0730, I just wanted to say that I love your dresses you are interested in and that I myself was interested in a few of these exact dresses. I may even look into getting a second dress that may be your first or third dress below. I have purchased a callista for brides with curves inspiration dress from dressilyme.com. They did an excellent job! you can see and read my review of my dress/seller on page 391 of this thread. I got a quote from jasmine bridal but it was too expensive when I asked for custom sizing. Please read about my experience and if you have any questions I would be happy to answer any concerns you may have.

Lindy S, I think the dress is great! I love the rushing and the skirt. I looked into shades of Pale also but I didn't go with them because they didn't list their prices. Maybe in your final post on this dress you could include this kind of information so that it can help other brides in the future. Congratultions so far on getting a beautiful dress. Please keep us updated on the alterations, shipping time, fitting of the dress and quality of workmanship and fabric when you receive the dress and your overall thoughts about your experience and dress.

Hi Trivera, I bought a dress from dressilyme.com so if you are interested in this company then you can read my post on few pages ago and I'm willing to answer questions if I can help. What kind of dress are you interested in? What is your price range? Have you tried on dresses? These are things you should first look into. Read as much of this thread as you can even if it takes days because there are so many chinese sellers on this thread. I would also look at other wedding forums and see what other brides have said. You want to be really confident and understand the risk that is involved in buying a knock-off dress. It took me about a year to choose a seller. I based a lot of on the number of reviews I could find online and how happy the girls seemed to be about there dresses. Make sure you look at real dresses and compare them to the inspiration dress. It won't be perfect but it should be at least 95% perfect. Read sellers policies and ask to see pictures of real dresses that are similar to what you are looking for or even if they have made the dress before. Get professional measurements done and double check them. The key to success on your part is to do lots of research and make your own decision. Good luck in your search, and keep us updated on what you're thinking and your decision!!!!!

MIssKim, I love your idea of a fascinator!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! There are so many to choose from out there. Have you thought about colour? oh I just read that you want to add peacock and that your hair colour is red. How Fabulous you are going to look on your wedding day! Etsy.com has lots of peacock fascinators. They have a lot of fascinators in different colours like red, peacock or black and white. Everything you can think of. if you can't narrow it down maybe you should look into an etsy seller custom making you one. On etsy they range in price but I think a custom one would give you what you are looking for. Maybe you can start a thread called Post your Fascinators! that would be awsome! I hope you find the perfect fascinator and that you Rock it!!!!! Take lots of pictures when you decide!

Like i said before I really like your skirt. your dress is very hollywood and is perfect for your wedding. I think if you feel the train is too long then its a great idea to shorten and move the flowers. Make sure you find a seamstress that knowns what they are doing because it would be so sad if they ruin your skirt. Thank you Futuremrslewis for the final update on your dress. I felt so bad for you when you found out that it was going to cost a lot more money to fix and all your stress. Your seamstress did a great job! I still love the pink detail that fushopping did though. I think you helped a lot of future brides out with their research on Knock-off wedding dresses. Great picture! you look amazing!

Mrlddst, Thank you! I'm really happy about my dress. anapoa27, Thank you! I feel I got a great deal too cause the inspiration dress here is about $1,600 to $2,000 CAN dollers. Since I didn't go to the bridal stores I can't compare to the inspiration dress but I do know the price range of the inspiration dress and I'm happy with th quality of my dressilyme. I hope my review helped you with your research on Knock-off dresses. Thak you ginger1961! I thought it was great that they at least took the time to put in a fabric bag too. Professional measurements are in important like others have said before but dressilyme did a great job at matching the measurments correctly. I still plan on pulling it in tighter though. Thank you very much dshane! It is true that I never tried on a single wedding dresss in stores or even went to the bridal stores. However, I looked at thousands of dresses online and my mum/friends and I talked about different styles of dresses and how they would look on me. Everyone was so nervous for me because they thought i should at least try on dresses but I decided to really focus on designers that make a range of sizes like maggie sottero, bonnie bridal, morie lee, Sincerity and Callista for brides with Curves. LIke Misskim said it might be a good idea to take pictures while you are at the bridal store so that you are positive about the style . I read this entire thread numerous times for about a year and half now. I also read posts on weddingbee and project wedding. Everytime someone said a new seller I did my own research. I focused on which sellers who got measurements right and structure support on a regular bases. Then I looked at what people said about materials like beads and fabric. Like you said "know what you want and get it done without outside influencing deterring you. Please do your own research and don't rely on just a few opinions. But i do hope that this has helped a little with nerves and fears!

Here is my final review of my dress and seller (www.dressilyme.com). I originally posted about this dress just a couple of weeks ago on post #3811 on Page 382 on this thread. There you can see pictures of the inspiration dress (callista style 9105) and the pictures that dressilyme originally sent me. After the first pictures they sent me I asked them to add more beading and they responded within 24hours. I should tell you that I originally asked for pictures when I ordered the dress. I think it is important to ask up front in the notes to seller to ensure that you get pictures. After they added more beading they sent me new pictures of the dress within 48hrs. Then I told them that they could ship my dress. it took them took them three days for quality control/packaging and then they provided me with a tracking #. it should be noted that dressilyme does not offer free shipping on their products unless there is a promotion. I decided to go with Fedex because I thought it would be reliable. It took three days business days to ship to Canada. The dress arrived in less than a month (oct.25). It arrived in febex box. it was wrapped in plastic bay and then finally a dressilyme bag. I have attached pictures so that you can see what I'm referring to for your future reference. After, i took the dress out. I had to turn it right side out. I believe this is a standard with most sellers. My first reaction to the craftsmanship was great! I was thrilled to see the stiff netting on the inside of the dress and the seams were perfect, there were no loose threads. There are breast cups and boning (11 bones in bodice of dress) I have provided pictures below. I absolutely love the beads on my dress. they used different beads on the hip detail. however, i love it more than the original because I think it will show up better in pictures. I cannot express how happy I am with the bead work and so happy that I asked them to add more to the skirt and chapel train. They didn't charge me for any extra bead work. I had to ask my little cousin to come over so that I could try on my dress. When I say the first pictures, I thought that the dress was going to be too short. I had my measurement done by a professional seamstress. however, she took my measurements in Centimetres and I had to convert it into Inches for dressilyme. Needless to say I was worried that my math was wrong. However, the length of the dress is perfect! I was also worried about the breast cup size as well. As you can tell I have really large boobs lol I wear a DDD/ F cup in street size. Again however, all the measurements are perfect. I DON"T need any alterations at all. My dress is Perfect for me. I love my dress! I didn't try on any dresses in stores but that is because I know what I like and what I think looks good on me. My friends and family thought I was so crazy to buy a dress online without trying on dresses but this thread and project wedding's dressilyme thread helped me to decide what company to use and what kind of dress. If you have large boobs like me I suggest a lace-up back. Overall I would recommend dressilyme to my family and friends because I had no problems at all. I dealt with Paris from dressilyme when I ordered the dress and Karen from dressilyme sent me pictures and told the dressmakers to add more beads when the dress was being made. Cost breakdown for my dress: $211 US dress + $15 US for custom sizing + $35 US shipping + $27 CAN duty= $288 plus a couple of dollars due to currency exchange rate and paypal fees. I think my grand total for all fees is $298. YEAH for me!! because I don't need anything else. I have posted pictures below. One pictures is with my cathedral veil that I bought fron Venusbridal shop on ebay.ca for $26 dollars CAN. It has scattered rhinestones on it. My hope is that this long review will help others in the future like this thread has helped me. So sorry for the bad pictures and the length.

Hilly1gh- I really love the beading of your dress. I think babyonline did a great job! Amazing overall! Rowe- Great skirt and love the flower! Misskim_Red: Sorry to hear about all your problems you had with your seller. However, in the end it did work out and the dress is Beautiful. I love the colour of your dress. I think the short dress is really sexy as well!

Hi Again Ladies, So it has been awhile since i posted any comments on this thread but I just wanted to tell all of you that I ordered a dress from www.dressilyme.com. I ordered on Sept 30 and received pictures of my simple dress today: Oct.12. My inspiration dress is Callista 9105. Dressilyme quote for the dress was $211.02 US dollars. Jasmine bridal shop quoted me for the dress $499 US dollars. I chose Dressilyme because they weren't the most expensive and they aren't the cheapest. They do have great customer service thus far. Also they have great reviews on project wedding forum. I will try and post pictures; so sorry if the pictures are really large. I thinking about asking dressilyme to add more scattered beads to the front and back of the skirt and I was wondering if they could send closer pictures of the hip detail and closer pictures of the bust. On the bust I can't tell if the larger beads are "diamonds" or sequins. I don't want sequins so if you think they are sequins please tell me.
