I would use the Search forums for both resorts to get more info on those. You may also try Reviews for each of the resorts to get very detailed info.

Congratulations! I definitely love Mexico, and I went with the Cancun/Riviera area. You should find a ton of info on here, and although I know that can be overwhelming, try to take your time and enjoy it. Best wishes with your planning!

I would start by trying to identify some of the resorts that meet your needs, such as family vs. adults only. After you have picked a few out, search the forum for each of those resorts and you will get tons of info! Congratulations! I got engaged in Feb 2010, got overwhelmed, and just recently set a date for Feb 2011 at Cancun Palace. If you're overwhelmed with TA's, I know how that feels as well. After talking to all of them I could find in my small town, I connected with the TA's on here and felt a sense of relief. Take your time, explore this site, and try to have some fun with it, too.

Congratulations! I am getting married at the Cancun Palace Feb 2011. I don't have any info on the Cozumel Palace, but I have found the people on this site to be very helpful! I've also had good results connecting with one of the Palace Resorts Wedding Sales Reps. She found and shared pics and extra info on the location that I couldn't find.

I just finalized a date at Cancun Palace Feb 3, 2011, so I decided to join this thread. There is so much info available, and now that I have a date and something to post about, I might eventually get enough posts in to view all of the amazing pictures on this thread.

Just want to say that I've recently started working with Teresa due to BDW and she has been AMAZING! I struggled to find a TA due to where I live and a lack of airlines. Teresa has been very quick to respond to all of my questions, even those that seem ridiculous to me. I just have to say, after talking to her the first day, I felt a definite sense of relief. Thank you to the BDW TA's!!!

I just finalized my date at Cancun Palace for Feb 3, 2011. Excited, nervous, and overwhelmed, but it is real now.

I just finalized my date for Cancun Palace yesterday. Feb 3, 2011. Not much time, but I'm ready and that time works for the people I really want to be there. So, since you're going for a visit next week and I'm all of a sudden doing this 7 months from now, I'd love if you could ask a couple questions for me. I really am curious about the fireworks. What kind are they? The one picture I was able to find that had some in the background made them look like white fountains, but I was wondering if there are more? How long do they last? I'm also curious about the beach erosion that I've heard about and where the ceremony location is from there? Also, how public is the ceremony location since it is on a public beach? This last question is about the resort or places around the resort. Is there a club or dance bar at the resort? Or, something close by the resort that you noticed that might be fun to goto the evening of the ceremony? I'd also love to hear your thoughts on dinner/reception locations. Thanks for your willingness to ask about things, and I hope you have a good time while you're there!!!
