I think we should all be fighting this. When I booked the wedding I was told that the price for them to set up our stuff was $65 and I will go down fighting for that price. I had already invested alot of money into my own linens etc when they changed the price. It's really not fair at all!!

Also for the ceremony seating I need help too... lots of the people coming will be standing up with us so I only need seating for 16 max... How should I set it up? 2 rows of 4 on either side might look silly???

Hi ladies, Does anyone have any suggestions for reception seating for a smaller group? (approx. 30) Should I still do wedding party at one table and then 2-3 other tables of guests or should I do a sweetheart table and then 3 tables of guests? I don't know what to do... Is everyone bringing their own linens or does anyone have pricing for linen rental at the resort?

$250??? That is crazy. They have said all along its $60 set up fee for bringing our own stuff... for $250 I would just have my bridesmaids or family do it because that is nuts. I would definitly fight that! I hate how they change everything on us all the time... so frustrating!!

I read a review somewhere and someone had their grandma in a wheelchair and they were talking about how accomodating everyone was... but I can't remember where I read the review. I will look for it right now!!

Oh Ladies, all your DIY stuff is sooo fabulous. It inspired me to get started on my stuff and me and my paper cutter were BFF last night... hopefully I can assemble lots of stuff this week and post pictures!! Woooo! I also found a dress for my legal ceremony at home for only $50... steal! And I found the ring bearers the cutest shorts... I am crossing off stuff on my list and I must admit it feels gooooood!! Question - does anyone have the list of songs you need for the ceremony? I saw it written out once like brides walk - 1 song, signing - 1 song and the order but of course I can't find it now that I need it. And do we have to have the ceremony music on an ipod or cd?? Wellll 3 months today I will be standing on the beach saying I DO! I need some serious DIY motivation because my list is long and my time is short! I keep joking with my FI saying jeez I know why people have kids after they get married... I have no spare time with 2 little ones running around. I also need a bustle put in to my dress... I havent even been back to the store to try it on. Where has the time gone?????? On another note, my nana passed away new years day and I would like to include something in memory of her...I know people have posted some of this stuff but I never looked closely because I didnt think I would need anything Is etsy my best bet for a small memorial charm?

I notice a common theme in this thread lately lots of us are disappointed in people not coming or backing out but the one thing that I read over and over is once you are there it doesnt matter who isn't there... you never read "oh my wedding was great but i wish so and so came" SO I am constantly reminding myself that when we are there it isnt going to matter who didn't come we will be celebrating with the people who did come and we will be sooooo happy I hope you all can be reminded of that when there are times you are feeling disappointed in the people who aren't coming! AND I am sorry that you all are feeling that disappointment but I am glad we have eachother to let us know that we aren't alone in that feeling! We are going to have FABULOUS weddings ladies

I'm so sorry to hear this. I know there are probably lots of pawn shops around you but its definitly worth it to spend a day looking for your stuff. Thats usually where theives go and they usually go there fast. And also craigslist! Our thoughts and prayers are with you as this must be so difficult for you!!
