I love Vista print. I had them do the business cards for my save the date luggage tags and I'm waiting for more free stuff to get for the wedding. I have some time, so I'm willing to wait on the emails to come rolling in.

Thanks ladies. I want to go for the color. I'm waiting on her to send me the sample of the color purple she has and then I'll make the final decision. She said that she would search to see if she could find a deeper purple just in case. Â I'll keep you posted.

I really love this thread. I am planning a large destination wedding in the Dominican Republic at the Dreams La Romana resort. We sent out save the dates to approximately 175 people and even more invites, so no one can say they weren't invited. Currently, the guest list is at 139, so with the people who have spouses we are at around 300 guests. We are hoping that only 100 people will show, including the wedding party (17). I too have 8 bridesmaids and 7 groomsmen. I also have divorced parents with a step-family that I am inviting as well. The problem, both of our families are large. I foresee that a lot of our guests will attempt to book through other means or complain about the price of the trip, but we gave everyone a year to plan for this. We let them know about the DW as soon as we decided to have one and we have already sent out the STDs. Â It was my plan to send out the invitations aruund Dec and have the cut off by Feb 14th but I think I need to send them sooner because the rates of the hotel now are only good if they book before January 7th.

I like the tag idea. Get some pretty ribbon from JoAnn's or Michaels and then add the tag. The tag could have "Save the Date" on the front and on the back you could put your wedding website and that way the guests will know to go there and all of your information about travel and accommodations could be on the website.

I really like your invites. They are so personal and I am sure your guests will love them. They did a wonderful job!

I bought my dress at Alfred Angelo's. They gave a $25 discount on the bridesmaids dresses as long as they put down a deposit on the dress before 10/15. There was also a 20% discount for MOB dress and flower girl dresses too!

My wedding colors are purple a dark gray and cream.

He's about 4 years older than me. I am 25 and he's 29. I look really young so in the beginning, when I was 19, it looked hilarious when people would look at us. It's gotten a whole lot better now. LOL!

Hi ladies. Although I'm not getting married in Florida, I am from Florida. I am in the West Palm Beach area, which is a couple of hours away from the Keys but if there's anything you have a question about, please don't hesitate to ask. If I don't know I'll ask. I also have a friend who got married in the Keys this past January.

I'm so sorry you had to deal with this drama. My FI and I made it very clear in the beginning to all of our single friends, including his sisters, that they were not getting a +1 unless they were in a relationship with that person for more than 6 months prior to our wedding and we had built a relationship with that person. We also told people that it's a vacation and we want them to have fun, so if they decided to bring their +1, just know they weren't invited to share in the wedding or reception, since we had to pay for dinner and the chair rental and everything else for that person. Additionally, we told them that if they insisted on bringing that person down for the wedding and ceremony we would let them know the cost of adding that person and they would be responsible for it. So far, we haven't had any complaints but we have 10 months to go so I'm expecting some backlash down the line when new couples start up closer to the wedding date.

I've actually used this site. It's great and they ship very quickly. I think I got my order in 2 days. I used the water bottle labels for our save the dates. Hermosa, the free chairs are the regular white patio chairs. There are a few colors that the resort has but if your colors aren't one of them, the sashes are $5 each.

Congrats Sheila. I'll be ordering my BM dresses sometime before October 15th - that's when the discount ends.

I already emailed her about the eggplant color since that's the color of the sash and the shoes I'm planning to wear (which by the way haven't decided which pair, only that they will be purple).

We are expecting around 100 people (wedding party included) so the price is going to add up for me but the free chairs will look out of place for me. I wanted something nice but I don't know if I really want to spend the extra money on the Tiffany chairs. It's a difference of $700 at that point to do 100 Tiffany chairs. Is it really worth it is the question. Â Will anyone remember the chair they sat in?

Heather, did you use the folding chairs for the ceremony too? Â I'm trying to decide whether to get the folding chairs or the Tiffany Chairs. I'm trying to decide whether getting the Tiffany chairs is worth the extra $7/chair.

So, I thought about making my own bridal accessories and then I stumbled across this great find. I think I'm all sold on this idea. My budget for my accessories was $100 and this fits squarely in the budget and I'm ok with spending the money to get something this nice. The first is the regular cream pearls and the second is the color she can add. IDK if I want the color. If i do get color added, I want eggplant. Ladies what do you think?
