That's the look I'm going for because the options that they provided were horrid. I have an idea of what I want and I just hope they can get it right. Â I too am worried about the shoes because I have to wear heels as there is over a foot height difference between me and my FI - I'm 5'2 and he's 6'3.

Bee, Â What I think the misunderstanding is coming from is that for the entree, you and your FI pick two choices of the 4 for the entire group, say a fish and chicken, or chicken and steak. Then at the reception, your guests chooses one of the options, either Fish or chicken, or Chicken or Steak. In other words, you narrow it down to the two choices that most of your guests would pick and then at dinner the guest picks which one they really want. Â That is my opinion. That's what we have to do for the reception at the Seaside Grill to my knowledge.

We aren't staying at the hotel for long because my FI has to get back to work, so I'll be leaving on Wednesday leaving Monday and he's coming down either Thursday or Friday leaving on Monday as well. We don't live together now and we still won't be living together after the ceremony because he's in another town for work. We will do a honeymoon in July for 2 weeks. 1 week alone and 1 week with our daughter (4 years old).

I preferred the later start because that gave our guests time to do other things prior to the ceremony and then spend their evening with us at the ceremony and the reception that night. I wanted everything to flow into one another and not have a huge gap. So, the guests can go into the reception area and have their drinks while we are taking our pictures and then we'll come over afterward.

I've tried but those images suck. I seem to just be finding cartoon looking images. Have you seen any elegant looking ones?

Hi all, Â I am trying to design my Boarding Pass Invitations but i am having difficulty finding the perfect image for the background or any part of the invitation. I am not looking for the standard palm trees or starfish. our theme is pearl and I was trying to incorporate that some way. I incorporated it into our Luggage Tag Save the Dates by making a small ring of pearls and attaching it to the ribbon. But I'm stuck with the images I have seen thus far. Please help. Diana, Â I agree that you should look at the other post. I must warn you that you will be consumed with information and it will take a while to get through it all but it is worth it. Most of the beginning questions that you will have can be answered just by reading the post from the beginning. Â We are having approximately 100 people and we chose the free package with the reception at the Seaside Grill because that was the cheaper option for us and we didn't want to pay for dinner when it was included in the price of the hotel already. Slyn, I like the idea of inviting them to come to the dancing portion of the reception only. Maybe I can incorporate that into my ideas.

The WC really picked the time for us. I told her that I wanted our photos to be at the sunset because I thought it would be so cute.

My wedding, Dominican Republic, is at 5pm. I'm deciding whether we need to move it up to 4:30 though.

I found "the one" and went with "the second one" because of practicality of the day and me wanting to dance uninhibited by the dress. Congrats on finding everything you wanted in one dress, "the one!"

Hi ladies, Â my FI's sister recently got married and I wasn't a bridesmaid but she wanted to include me and what she did for me will be the same thing I do for her and the other sister. What she did to make me feel included was to invite me to everything the bridesmaids did. I went to the bridal brunch, the bachelorette party, the bridal shower, and I was there while they were getting dressed. She also included me in a few pictures with the girls and with the family - my FI and our daughter, along with her immediate family. Â she didn't want to insult me by having me be a host because I was too old for that, so instead, she included me in other ways. Â Hope this helps.

My FI's father passed away in May and I want to include him as well as a father figure of mine, my track coach and mentor for the last 16 years of my life, who passed away a month ago. They both passed away of cancer. My FI's father had a type called carcinoid and my coach had prostate cancer. It's so sad that both of their lives were ended by such a ravaging disease. Anyway, I saw on here where someone had their FI a pair of photo cuff links with a picture of his father on them. So, I think I will borrow that idea along with putting a picture of my coach on my bouquet. I think I would also like to leave an open seat for them next to their wives with a framed picture of them. I also like the idea of having their picture on the RB pillow but I don't think we'll have one.

This is the idea I have for our invitations and my family have never seen boarding pass invitations either, so they're going to be excited. They were really excited about the Save the Dates I sent out (luggage tags). Thanks to all the ladies on this site for their wonderful ideas. Â By the way, you are so lucky that your FI is willing to help and does a wonderful job. My FI is willing to help, the problem is, he is 3 hours away.
