  1. Hi ladies. I just created my photo sharing cards from Vista Print - LOVE vista print. I did something a little different to keep along the them I've been using with Vista Print. I hope you ladies and my guest enjoy them.
  2. She is adorable and congrats on your upcoming wedding. I'm marrying my daughter's father as well in May. I'm so excited. We've been dating for 6 years.
  3. After the sit down dinner is dancing. You don't necessarily need a DJ. We are planning to bring a Bose Ipod docking station and have a playlist of the songs we want to use. We're making ours like a big party after we get the traditional things out of the way that I want to do. Have fun! It's your big day, so do what YOU want! Â
  4. Sorry, my post must have gone out while you were posting your pictures of the cake. Was the reception at the Seaside Grill?
  5. Aww Bee, I LOVE your photos!!!! It looks like you guys had a GREAT time and the colors are absolutely gorgeous. Who did your flowers? I can't wait for the review. Can you post pictures of your cake please? Â CONGRATS again!
  6. You did a great job and your guests will enjoy them. I think the most rewarding thing about DIY is knowing that your guests love your work and that your hard earned time, sweat and tears were worth something.
  7. Thanks! With shipping and tax, I paid $5.97 for this shirt. I wanted this shirt so I was ok with paying the extra $2 per shirt. The larger size was $1.99 more, so I paid $7.96 for a 2X
  8. I found a link for a ladies t-shirt for $2.66 - the cheapest I've seen, so I went with it. Here is the link http://michellebank.com/2010/05/27/vista-print-huge-memorial-day-weekend-sale-free-items/ and here is the shirt I designed for my bridesmaids. I hope they like it!
  9. You can still use the link. I used it last night and the original email said that the sale ended on the 16th. :-)
  10. Has anyone seen a link for a free ladies t-shirt?

  12. We sent out our save the dates in July because I wanted everyone to have almost a full year to get things in order for the trip. We created a website and a yahoo groups page so that we could disseminate information quickly and efficiently to the group. I was thinking about sending out the formal invitations in November and giving a February 14th reply date, I figured they wouldn't forget that date. LOL! The early booking deadline is January 7th, so I figured that those that are coming will know by February 14th and those that haven't made up their minds will lose that booking rate. Â I've put down the deposit on my dress and I'm going shopping with my bridesmaids on October 2nd.
  13. Does anyone have a template for their welcome brochure or can point me in the direction to find one? I've been searching the thread but I can't seem to find one pointed to Dreams La Romana
  14. Here's a link to freebies that another BDW bride just posted. I'm going to try it to see if it works but so far, I've been able to see all the free things. http://ebm.e.vistaprint.com/c/tag/hBMjgXCAZ5PEAB8Uoh3NrsXq-DY/[email protected]
  15. I found this shoe on the DSW website and I love it, and it's CHEAP!!! I was looking for purple shoes myself and I think I've found it. Also, it's available in your size, which also happens to be my size too! Â http://www.dsw.com/shoe/audrey+brooke+estella+pump?prodId=209776&productRef=SEARCH
  16. Thanks for the link. Now I just need to find a template for the brochure to print out so that I can get those for free too. Hopefully the link will still work by the time I get everything together. I saw a lot of cool stuff that I wanted, especially the Bridesmaid shirts!
  17. CONGRATS Bee Have a wonderful time on your honeymoon and I'm happy that you're excited with the pictures and I can't wait to see them. I am super pumped about going to the resort and it being my turn .... until then, I'll wait for the next 8 months. LOL!
  18. Thanks! I've had my eye on these types of things. I will check in the States and see if ours are on sale as well. here's to hoping they are!
  19. It does but I decided to go with another vector that I found for FREE! Thanks. I'll post when it's finished. I'm still trying to get it exactly how I want it though. Â Thank you for being so kind for looking for something for me. I really appreciate it.
  20. SKing24, you're a very nice bride since you are paying for your wedding party's rooms. We are not paying for anything for our wedding party, not even their attire. Our party is WAY too big for that and our budget is too small. We feel that whoever wants to be there will be there, no matter how much it costs them.
  21. Dana, I think we're just going to give out parasols at the ceremony to keep everyone shaded during the event and that will be our favor. I may end up giving a jar of candy that will sit on the table as an accent to the centerpieces as their other favor. I can get the colored candy cheap and just put them in jars from Walmart or Oriental Trading or Michaels. Â We're trying to doing something that won't cost us $1000. I have a friend looking into wholesale parasols in Miami in gray and purple.

So, he will be very much surprised when he gets there to see what "we've" done for our guests. Â We are expecting more than 100 people, so doing OOT bags are definitely out of the question for us because $1 per item is $100 already and that means we'd likely spend $1,000 on OOT bags if we put 10 nice things in there --> WAY TOO MUCH!!! Â
  23. Great post uninspired. I have done the same thing with my FI. It's easier for me to remember that he doesn't have the time because he 3 hours away being a graduate assistant at the University of Central Florida's football team, so basically, I'm doing everything by myself. He will be really surprised come the wedding day. He was so excited when he saw the save the dates that "we" sent out. I will only be involving him in the things that absolutely need his input. It looks like I will have to pick out the mens' attire as well - unless I enlist the help of the Best Man.
  24. Those pictures are gorgeous and I love her dress. It's so simple yet elegant.
  25. That's sweet! Congrats and I hope that your marriage is filled with just as much emotion and happiness.
