Is anyone doing the SKY wedding? And if so, do you know how many chairs are included? The Silver and Gold package only allot for so many chairs but I would hope up to 80 would be included in the Sky package since you have to pay more for it. (80 is the deck's capacity.) One of the many reasons I decided to do a DW was to keep the $$$ down. So now that I've plugged in everything I want (and that's without official quotes from Lamas or AS) I'm way over budget. Trying to get my costs down. So hoping I can subtract the $9 per chair over 12 chairs that I've worked into my budget. Thanks!

I bet it was funny! I actually already got my dress. It was everything I ever wanted in a dress (and it was a sample so I got if for 70% off.) I love everything about it except for the fact that I am all boobs in it. Ha. Loking to create more of an hour glass figure. Figured I could wear a corset or spanks would do. I was looking in Macy's last week for a shaper and the woman who worked there suggested Body Magic. I thought it was odd that she would point me in that direction considering that Macy's doesn't sell it but thought that it was worth looking into.

Has anyone seen the Sky Deck in person? I'm having my ceremony up there and was thinking about hanging 3 large antique picture frames from the wooden structure. (So it looks like there are paintings of the sky behind us.) Obviously I would want them to be behind us but not so far behind... maybe like 2 feet. Wasn't sure if this was doable. (If there's a middle beam in the wooden structure.) Also not sure if it would look weird because of the glass around the edge of the deck. I hope you can imagine this not sure if I am painting a very good picture.

Has anyone heard of or used Ardyss' Body Magic. It's an under garmet that claims to reshape your figure (moving fat cells to the places you actually want them) and reducing 2 sizes. I know it sounds crazy but I can only find good reviews online. I only have abou 10 lbs I want to lose but am looking to buy a shaper for under my dress that will make my waist look smaller. (I have breast and a butt but no other curves.) Thinking about trying it...hmmm...hope someone has already been down that road!

It drove me nuts. I would call her directly and ask her. Then after your phone conversation write her an email confirming everything you talked about. But ask her how far in advance may your guest arrive at ceremony location for pictures etc. I know this is rough to hear, but trust me when I say the onsite team will do everything to accomadate YOU. They really will make it run smoothly and fix everything Tiffany f's up. They seriously ROCK. As for the DW.com, I had Gayle. I wonder if you call gayle and speak with her directly if she can help. Gayle was amazing to everyone in my group, which was 20+ppl. My family raved about Gayle. If you want her info, pm me and Ill send it over. Otherwise send your ta an email saying you have received complaints about her and wondered if she's having a hard time with your group and that you would be ok with changing agents if she doesn't want your wedding group because you'd rather not have complaints and want a stress free planning expirence... Goodluck :I & let me know if I can help. You're amazing. Thanks so much for all of the advice. Camille finally got back to me and I think we're on the path to working things out. Going to send Tiffany a note now about when my guests can arrive. I didn't even think about that!

Does anyone know how long the ceremony actually is? I'm asking bc my fabulous (that's sarcasim) WC, Tiffany has been avoiding my question as to whether the other wedding booked on my day (it's at 3, mine is scheduled for 430) is also on the Sky Deck. I have asked her flat out three times. Her latest response was "There will be time for your set up to be done on the Sky Deck. The on site team is prepared for situations like this." Umm...that still doesn't directly answer my question but I'll assume that it means that the other wedding will also take place on the Sky Deck. Assuming that they'll be up there for an hour, that really leaves very little time to break down that party's decorations and put mine up. Very, very annoying. Uggh, I guess I'm just hitting a stroke of bad luck or am in a particualry foul mood today. My TA (I'm using Camille at Destination Weddings) hasd been very short with my guests when they call, or is taking 5 days to return their calls and emails. Also, for those that want to book directly through her she is cutting them off and telling them to go to the DW site. How annoying! I want my guests to feel taken care ofand considering that a large number of my guests rarely travel this is a big expense and hassle for some of them. I think that the least that she should do is answer their questions and help them with the booking process. I mean, that's her job right? I sent her an email last night to say all of this and, surprise, I still haven't heard back. Someone please tell me I'm crazy and I'll chill out. Otherwise, I think I might ask to switch both my WC and TA. Does anyone know who to call about Tiffany at Karisma? Anyone have a TA at Destination Weddings that they like working with? Ahh...sorry for the rant. I guess it is just one of those days. Thanks everyone!

Does anyone know what activities the hotel offers guests? I think I've been misinformed by my TA. Do you know if there are cooking classes? Do you have to pay for yoga? And did/is anyone planning to set up group activities for guests? I think we'll end up having 55-70 guests come. (Yay!) Was going to pay for two buses to take everyone into Cancun and maybe VIP service at a club (for the younger guests) but not sure that I'll be able to afford to pay for everyone. Any suggestions? Thanks!

First, I used destination weddings.com, and we had a GREAT expirence with our travel agent, Gayle. Please request for her if you choose that company. She has totally been on top of everything the entire time, and been totally honest with us from the begining. Even told us from the get go that Azul sensatori was pricey. (* lol, didn't really believe it in the begining) haha. arriving at as was so cool, got champagne and cold refreshing towels since it was so hot there. They do this for everyone, but you feel like royalty. There was a mix up with our room but they more than fixed it. We first checked into a swim up room. Which was a room off of the lazy river, but was not a swim up. Then we went and complained and requested a PREMIUM swim up room, which is different than the regular swim up. The premium has a jucuzzi right outside your swim up area, which is so fab, because the water is so cold in the pools, So at night you can have a lil after party in your outside swim up. BUT instead they ended up putting us in the honeymoon suite all week long. If you look up the prices for that, you'll know what a hook up this was, so awesome. Wrap around balcony and huge room. We enjoyed every min of it We used our jucuzzi in our room almost everynight. It does take long to fill, but we found things to do while it was running the resort was so nice and the food was amazing. The best part of the trip was the employees there. They are so nice and helpful. Its almost embarrasing how nice they are to you. Carry your plates, open doors, pulling out chairs, puttn your napkin on your lap, just very very good service all week long. The workers dont get paid sh*t there, so they basically live off your tips, so a little goes along way and alot gets you anything you want. If theres something you want. just ask. And ppl there will do work on the side if you really need something. The flower girls dressed ripped and they fixed it for free in less than an hour, and didn't charge me. And it was not a little rip, they re-sewed the entire caroline all the way around. Im so happy I chose that resort and definitly encourage anyone that is thinking about AS to do it. They know what they are doing down there. The offsite team.... well, lets just say if you have Tiffany, I would ask to be switched. She is either way over worked with alot of brides or doesn't know the resort at all. And will be catching alot of heat from my wedding and andreas. (mrs Vaughn) The wedding day went perfect. I don't even know what to say because i truely expected at least a lil something to not be perfect, but honestly, it was perfect ceremony, perfect reception. If anyone has any questions, ask away.... CONGRATS! So happy for you two and glad to hear that you had a great time. Good to know about Tiffany. She's my WC. Wondering how I can asked to be switched...hmm...maybe just ask my travel agent. Can't wait for the full review and to see pictures. Going to request you on FB. My name is Amanda Brocato. Thanks!

Hi - I'm a new member and I just booked my wedding for 10.10.10 at Azul Sensatori. It looks great but reviews I've read online are mixed and I am starting to get nervous. Has anyone already had their wedding there? Or even visited? What did you think about the food? We're expecting 80 guests so I'm planning the private reception. I just want to make sure the qaulity and taste of food justifies the cost. Please let me know! Thanks!
