  1. Don't forget too that you can buy regular disposable cameras even cheaper and get the pics uploaded to CD. From there you can use different programs to edit them.
  2. I agree with giving your friends cameras to get their points of view, but I would have a backup plan for the pics you really want. Just as a pro may possibly miss some things you wish you could capture there is a higher probability of that happening if your guests take pics. Also, there disposable digital cameras that you can purchase and give out for less money.Disposable Cameras - Digital, Cheap, Weddings, Discount I honestly haven't used one but you have time to try them out and see the quality. I'm not sure if you want to look into this, but maybe you should scope out schools in your area. Maybe you can view the work of a photography/journalism student who wants to break into the field of weddings. This is a stretch but may be worth a try. I'd hate for you to look back and regret not getting the shots you want.
  3. from a fellow November and Riviera Maya bride. I'm glad you found us! This will be one of the best things that ever happened to you as far as planning goes if you really get into it. Definitely take the time out to get to know the forum and how to navigate it and it will be a priceless tool for you.
  4. This is where I got my bouquet jewels from. I wish I would have gotten the discount price tho. Make sure you check back for their closeouts periodically. I got rolls of ribbon to wrap our bouquets for only $1!!
  5. Marla - for some reason when I tried to pull up your site it didn't come up. It's probably because I'm at work and they block everything but I'm sure it's nice. Since we're sharing here's ours Meredith and Theo - Welcome. Hasn't been updated in awhile tho. AmyKH - still haven't gotten that video. Do I need to send you my email again?

I honestly haven't looked into that because I had already set one up with Honeymoon Wishes - Honeymoon Bridal Registry your wedding gift is the perfect honeymoon. It basically translates into cash for you and FI but its similar to what I assume Karisma offers but without the 7% charge. You can assign dollar amounts to things you want to do at the resort or on your honeymoon, i.e. manicure to show off my ring is an option. Check it out. This forum has set my mind at ease and been a lifesaver so far and I'm only 2 months in. You Ladies are AWESOME! LMAO @ "blind dates" that's hilarious! But alas!!! ;-) If you aren't digging your "problem" areas.....maybe you can wear your FI's work shirt, a favorite jersey, tie, or lie these things across you in a creative way. It will personalize them and give you some comfort...... DO IT! DO IT! DO IT! I'm your number one cheerleader! See my post above about personalizing your shoot with FI's clothing....... Yay on more booking!! I remember how that felt. Relief!! I'm gonna do it and wear one of his shirts. I like the way that looks. I'm also gonna wear my wedding shoes!!! I'm so excited about that...I love those things!

Needless to say, it has caused great strain on mine and her's relationship (it wasn't a "good" break-up between me and him) - my sister and I didn't speak for an entire year. So here's the confession part...even though I act like it doesn't bother me, and tell everyone it doesn't matter to me - it absolutely breaks my heart that she isn't going to be in my wedding party. (We were best friends growing up!) I agee with bsf&jpg and I think you should let the past stay in the past. I know that's easier said than done and I don't know the whole story but if you and your sister make up 2 yrs from now you will still have to live with the fact that she wasn't in your wedding. It may not matter now or even 2 yrs from now but 20 yrs from now you could possibly look at your wedding photos and regret that she wasn't in them. I think you should ask her out to lunch and put all of your cards on the table. You may even find that she's upset that you didn't ask her and she really wants to be in it. I would at least say that you should make the effort to try to mend things and IF that doesn't work, then you have to be at peace with your decision to not have her in your wedding and remember that it's truly you and your FH that matter, especially on that day. Good luck and keep us posted. Quote: Originally Posted by bsf&jpg thumbs up for you! she sucks. Thanks!!

  9. Hi! I just wanted to share this find. I just ordered shirts for my ring bearer and flower girl from BridalPartyTees- Bridal, Wedding, Shower, Party: T-shirts and it is fully customizable. You can upload pics to make your own unique tee. They also have coupons if you sign up for emails that they send like every other week so if you have time to wait you can get a shirt for $4.97 usually + shipping. I also found out they take more than one coupon code, so I went to Coupon codes and discounts for 50,000 online stores! RetailMeNot.com and searched for a coupon code there and got a shirt for me basically free! I only ordered these so far because I'm waiting on another coupon. Let me know your thoughts. ring bearer's shirt BridalPartyTees - Community Gallery Page flower girl's shirt (I found the pic in Google images and uploaded it) BridalPartyTees - Community Gallery Page my shirt BridalPartyTees - Community Gallery Page
  10. We started dating in 2004, broke up for about a year and resumed Valentine's Day 2007. We only count the time after the break up so....3 yrs 9mo by the time we get married.

Did any of you switch TAs and is there any special etiquette for doing it? It comes down to price for me...and I don't want my sister's friend to do all this work for nothing...so if she can save me $$$ I would switch....Thanks I didn't go through DW.com like a lot of the ladies here did and I am not getting perks like having someone negotiate prices for me. My TA however is great and got us a really good deal and does come to my rescue when I'm not getting my way so I stayed with her. My #1 reason for even getting married in MX (St. Thomas was our 1st choice) was price for my guests. So I guess it depends on what you're willing to sacrifice. I can say that if people know they can get it cheaper somewhere else and still come, they will, and that may wind up hurting your perks in the long-run anyway. 12. I'm interested in taking some off your hands. I just PM'd you!
  13. I'm going back and forth about this. I wanted to have the bags in everyone's room when they check in. The resort charges $4 per room, but the bags are different. We're having the bags monogrammed with our guests initials so I just want to be sure this doesn't get messed up (I'm kinda obsessive). Another option is to give them at our Welcome Cocktail Party but I just thought it would be a nice surprise to have them waiting in their rooms.
  14. Lol! I'm glad you asked about this, otherwise I would've missed it. Cute ideas.
