  1. I'm getting married in Vegas and am making my own invitations - gonna try, anyway!! I want to use the 'Welcome to Las Vegas' sign on the invitation somewhere - just a black outline one, which I then want to change to read ' Married in Las Vegas'. Does anyone know where I can find one that has been changed already, or a normal one that I can change?? A freebie would be good!!! I have found an unchanged one on IStockPhoto, but thought i'd put the question out there before I buy it!
  2. OMG ........ Retro Bakery cupcakes look delicious. I wasn't even going to have any sort of cake as we are having a reception party when we get home and we'll have cake there, but seeing those tasty bits of heaven has definately changed my mind!!!!
  3. Please can someone help me out I have been reading all the threads about the hair and makeup Artists available in the area and am in the throws of deciding - but, i'm staying at The Mirage and wondered about having my hair and makeup done in the hotel salon. Has anyone got anything to say about the Mirage salon - good and bad?? Will this help me decide
  4. Please can someone give me some advice. I've been trawling the internet for places to have our wedding dinner. There will be about 25 in our party (including a couple of babies, possibly). We want somewhere relaxed and unpretentious, that serves good food at a good price. We have whittled it down to three at the moment (and still looking) - Capos Italian Restaurant - loving the look of this place (My man being a complete Sopranos freak, and I love anything old gangster), but reviews say that the place is very dark?? Does anyone know if they have a private dining area at either location?? Samba Brazilian BBQ Restaurant, at The Mirage - as we are staying here, then this place makes sense. We love the idea of the Rodizio (or however it's spelt) as we have experienced something like this before and know that our guests would love it. Some reviews say that it isn't all that?? Bocca di Beppo Italian Restaurant - we have been to a couple of these and just love the food and the whole feel of the place, but is it special enough Any input from you guys would be great and I look forward to reading them x
  5. Hiya When I was looking for places to get married, I came across a website called Scenic Las Vegas Weddings | Affordable Wedding Packages in Las Vegas. - they do weddings in loads of locations around Vegas .... Red Rock Canyon looks fantastic! I don't know what the ceremony will be like, but I was so impressed with the photography that I have asked if I can hire the photographer for my wedding - they have been very quick with responding and can accomodate everything i've asked about. So............. as a first impression of the company itself - it's all good. Have you got as far as the dinner yet?? Any ideas are welcome, i'm totally stuck!!!
  6. KerriJ I've never been to Jamaica, but I bet it will be lovely. What sort of wedding are you having .............. is it going to be on the beach??

Good luck finding a reception location. Hiya. I am in the same situation as you lovely lot with regards to the reception venue!! I'm staying at The Mirage, getting married at Little Church (or chapel - can't remember) of the West. We looked into having our dinner at BB Kings but decided against it as we have been to BB Kings in Orlando and remember the noise level being quite high (which is good if you want to party). We have decided to go to BB Kings after the dinner to dance the night away!! Shay - please see attached information that they sent to me, incase you haven't got anything yet. If you like BB Kings, then House of Blues is another option. Attachment 4632 Can you tell me if you can open the attachment - bit of a technophobe!! I am looking for somewhere with a good atmosphere, good food and good prices!!! We will have a party of about 25 so do not need a separate dining area - I think that might make it all a bit too formal anyway and I want everyone to relax and enjoy.
