    Yikes! I'm so sad to hear your event didn't run as smoothly as it should!! I've heard the Residence is quite a big different than the Resort so I'll keep my fingers crossed. Just out of curiosity, do you remember your wedding coordinator's name? Hopefully it's not the same one I've been issued. I've been curious if they were the same since you can have your wedding/reception at either location. Did you get a chance to look at Paparazzi's photos? I had been wondering if they were any good? Did you bring a photographer with you, or someone from PV? I've really been struggling on who to use. Did you get a dj for your private dance, or did you use an ipod hookup? Thanks for any info you may have!!! And congrats on being a Mrs. now

    K - you're wedding date is coming up! How has your planning process been so far? Have you submitted your wedding checklist back to Marival? What menu/locations did you pick? Are you bringing down anything extra for the wedding/dinner/guests? atgb - congrats on picking Marival! Your wedding is just a few months away too! If you find the Marival Residences facebook page, there are quite a few wedding couples on there. Some of them are tagged in the pictures so you can reach out to them with questions.

    Has anyone decided on a location for the wedding and reception? I'm having a hard time deciding on the reception location. I wish there were more pictures of all of the locations.

    This is one of the reasons I LOVED this place. I believe we will have a large group going and so many places would charge $$$ for each person over 10 guests that it was becoming so costly. As msisland said, there isn't a charge for each guest unless you do the beach or a private dinner.

    I was unable to follow this link. I've been very curious about dressilyme as well, but most reviews on here are for Shades of Pale and Jasmine's.

    I think a lot of factors go into finding the perfect place for each bride. If you are having a lot of guests, you may want to look at the Palace resorts. They offer fantastic incentives for large groups. i.e. if you have so many people you get unlimited private functions (including the private reception dinner).

    I am a first time parent to 7 month old twins. I've been told (by my extremely uptight sister), that I'm a very laid back parent. With that being said, I would have gone without hesitation to my siblings destination wedding with my babies... AND I HAVE TWO! Heck, especially if she's breastfeeding! She wouldn't have to worry about water contaminating the formula. We are planning our destination wedding when our girls will be 2 years old (only so they'll be walking and can participate), but most of the resorts are extremely accommodating to those with little ones. They'll provide cribs, strollers, toys, etc. When they're that little is the time to go, it's free for them!

    Please keep me posted! I love this resort but right now it seems too impractical for my wedding guests. May be a great spot for a honeymoon though

    Our colors are red and blue and I've been wondering how to tie in the colors with the men's attire. I saw today that Eddie Cibrian and Leann Rimes renewed their vows and I LOVE what he wore. With a red boutonniere, I think this will definitely work well. Has anyone ever seen a bluish shade of linen pants for sale?
