Still on my honeymoon, but just wanted everyone to know that words cannot describe the experience we had at Dreams. It was the best time of my life. I will write a detail review when I return. I just received an email from Gabriela. She said that she would honor Doremixx b/c it was confirmed with Ana. She did say that she had to speak with management and they said if Ana confirmed it they would honor it. If I would have known this I would have booked the videographer. Why are they changing vendors? I love all of the pictures I see from Adventure Photography. I hope they are not switching photographers.

Please let me know if you hear anything ann I will do the same. I really want Doremixx for our wedding.

Is Doremixx still the DJ there? I recieved a confusing email form Gabriela about the DJ. A few months back I had asked Ana to reserve Doremixx for my reception. After contacting Doremixx I find out that she never did. Ivan told me not to worry he would hold the time and date open. Once Gabriela became the WC I emailed her regarding this issue. She replied that we are changing the DJ and he will be the one to play at your reception, he is very good, and we highly recommend him, also, the photographer that is included in the package is Adventure Photos, they are the inhouse photographer and they are the only ones allowed to take pictures at weddings. Does this mean she is changing the DJ to Doremixx or they are changing the DJ for DRC?

I went to the Christmas Tree Shop and they had on clearance really nice Canvas Totes that were ivory with yellow, orange, blue, black, and red straps. They were originally $5.99 on clearance for $1.99. I was going to order the same exact bags online for 4.99.

We have 42 people confirmed, but I am giving couples 1 bag. I actually am making 35 bags, but there are still some last minutes that might be going.

I went to Limerick Outlet Stores in Pennsylvania and found some great buys at the Bath and Body Works Outlet. I bought for OOT Bags SPF 25 gel which retails for $17.00 for $1.70 each and I also bought after sun Shimmer oil that retails for $16.00 for $1.60. The woman at the counter looked at me like I was crazy for buying 40 of each. Just thought I would share if you have outlet stores near you.

I just ordered a pair of shoes for my reception that I think are so unique. I found a vendor on etsy.com that will hand paint your shoe to match whatever you want. I am having her incoporate the color of my bridesmaids dresses and starfish. Just thought I would share if you are looking for something different. Â Â Â Â

I recieved an email this morning from Gabriela stating that she is the new wedding manager. I also, emailed Ivan from Doremixx because months ago I had requested him as my DJ via Ana. Ivan responded that he has not heard anything from Ana. 2 months until my wedding and I am just starting to get nervous.

That is correct. I have the wine list and menu for Bordeaux and Portofino. If you want it just give me your email address. All other types of drinks are included. The wine cellar only holds 20 people though.

Has anyone shipped wedding stuff to Dreams Riviera Cancun? In the wedding package it states that you can ship stuff there and give Ana the tracking number. I am just really concerned about someone taking it once it gets there.

Not sure if anyone is interested. I contacted Ana to see if we could have a steel drum band opposed to the mariachi band. She said yes, but its $800 for 45 minutes.

I am getting married on October 17. We are thinking of renting a catamaran instead of having a rehearsal dinner. But..we would also, like to have a welcome dinner for everyone. We have approximately 50 people coming. Do you think that Dreams could set a dinner up on the beach for an extra charge? I haven't had much contact with Ana, but am not worried after all of the feedback. Has anyone done a dinner like this and if so how much did it cost? Did you set something up prior to getting there?
