I ordered 50 invites and some extra paper incase I messed up (which I strongly advise to do! cause sometimes my printer did) - it was $200 for everything including shipping and thats about $4 per invite (acutally less than that cause of the extra paper I ordered so probably $3 an invite). I only paid $25 for duty once it arrived.

The purple folder color is called "blackberry" but I just visited their website - looks like they changed their colors around but yes, punch" would be the closest. I also ordered mine all metalic for the extra shimmer to them. The green used to be called "grasshopper" so I would say the closest is the "fairway" color. Good luck!

Dont worry, Im in the same boat. My wedding is exactly 2 months away and I havent heard from Nicole in 3 weeks. I wanted to know if we can change one of the meal opts on the menu as we are mostly all vegetarians and no response. I also still need to book my entertainment with her - im scared that its gonna be taken if I dont book it soon!

It took Tai Flora about a month to orginally answer me. They provided me with quotes for all the pictures I sent them. Then I sent a follow up email confirming which things I wanted to go with (this was about 3 weeks ago) and havent heard back yet. Just save all your emails, print them, and bring them with you so your gaurantee to get what your quoted when you arrive!

Hey everyone, Here is my thread for my formal invitations. They are called "pocket-fold" invites which I purchased from cardsandpockets.com! They are super affordable (best prices I could find!) and they shipped very fast! They are also easy to assemble. First, I designed the main invitation using Word. You can download all the templates off cardsandpockets.com so you make sure it will fit with the size of invitation you have ordered. Below you will see the first page which was printed on cream card stock and layered on green card stock. I used double sided tape to stick the layers together. Next, I created 4 different tiered effects for my invitations. A. Wedding Day B. Travel Itinerary C. RSVP and D. Information. I have to admit the tiered effect was difficult to do! They were supposed to send me them already pre-cut but unfortunatly they weren't. They had sent all the same length (the long ones) and I had to cut them myself. But once I figured it out it wasn't too difficult. And TA-DA, this is the final product: Then I sealed the outside with a belly band and our initials and used a matching green envelope to seal them in! Let me know if you have any questions. I am happy to help!

Hey Everyone! So im finally getting around to posting my past port invites. Surprisingly, I designed everything myself (with using pictures from clipart). It was the first time I completed something like this, so I must say it was rather time consuming finding images, deciding on colors and fonts, but it was alot of fun and I think turned out great in the end! I used two pages of cardstock purchased at Staples. I designed this using Word/Pages and found all the pictures from clip art (flower design, barcode, and starfish design). This is the front page: This is the second page: I whole punched them and tied them together with purple ribbon (purchased at michaels). I then purchased purple cardstock and folded it like a passport envelope holder and cut (on an angle) a piece of the cardstock out (this was my fiancee's job!!! lol). Then I whole punched a palm tree on the corner (whole punch purchased at michaels). Once all completed. I wrapped it in green rafeta ribbon (purchased at michaels) and strung a starfish charm in the middle (starfish is the theme of our wedding!). All sealed in our beachy themed envelopes (purchased from Staples). Let me know if you have any questions! Id be glad to help as I know how difficult and time consuming (as fun as it was!) it was for me to complete this. I would have been lost without this forum!!!

They are allowing us to have it at aunt rubys cause we are paying to make it $50 people. Therefore, minus the 8 thats include in the pkg we are paying $18 x 42 people which is practically $800. Thats why I dont get why we have to pay $800 on top of that to rent it out. Thats why are ARNT and we are going to have dancing afterwards elsewhere.

Yea - thats correct. Cause we are doing ours at Aunt Rubys and we only have 30 people. So we are paying $18 per person after 8 people and to make it 50 people (As thats the min. requirement for aunt rubys). I just dont get why we have to pay $18 per person + the $800 to rent it out - it just seems like double dipping to me.

its definatly not required to tip extra but you always want to reward someone for their good service (above and beyond). Its best to carry alot of $1 bills - tip your doorman, maids, room service and bartenders.... they will remember you throughout your stay and make it that much better for you. A little bit goes along way!
