I am sooo happy to hear that there are other couples that have or are getting married at the Rose Hall. I am getting married there on May 8th of this year. Me and my fiance were there back in 2006 before the resort was renovated and we absolutely loved it, which is why we decided to get married there. I do agree that it can get somewhat pricey, but it all depends on what you want and how much you can afford. We decided to go with the Jamaica Sunshine package and just included an upgrade to our West Lawn gazebo decor and to also include a PA system. To keep the price down we also decided on just having a small cocktail reception with just a few hor-deuvres in the same location as the wedding ceremony. At first, I was little annoyed with the fact that we had to pay for food and drinks even though all our guest had all inclusive packages. But, then they explained that this is considered a private event and unfortunately the all inclusive does not apply. I do have a question for those of you whom have already gotten married there. Did any of you get the standard cake and bouquet that comes with the package? If so, how were they? Just curious, I'm sure they will both be beautiful no matter what. Thanks!

Hi my name is Jenny and I am finally marrying the love of my life after 10+ years together. We are getting married on May 8th, 2010 in Montego Bay, Jamaica. Currently I am working on the wording for my invitations. Since, I sent save the dates back in April of 2009, I would like for my invitation to announce that we are getting married and invite everyone to our at home celebration shortly after we return. I think I have finally found the wording I want to use, but am not sure on how to word the RSVP. Any cute ideas? Thanks!
