I am not having my wedding at this hotel, but I stayed here for about a week last Christmas if anyone has any questions. The rooms are very nice.

Our resort aranges this stuff for us. I know when I went to Rivera Maya a year ago ( to a different resort ) that resort aranged tours too. We will probably do this tour as well ,but with a mcuh smaller group. I heard that tour takes a whole day, and not everyone is willing to commit to that.

How did the tea candles work for you? I really like them , but I am scared something that low might burn something

Awsome Awsome Review. Did they give you any pricing for the table decoration that you could post / supply. I know they offer a lot of side service. Fans, ticki torches, Sashes ect. I am wondering if it would be better to bring them with, or use theres.

I have gone to wedding showers for people getting married out of the country and never thought a thing about it. I think it is rather common these days. People understand that somethings are just for family.

Not to sound mean about her, but this isnt about her rough childhood. Its about YOUR wedding. You deserve to be a little selfish! You will never have either wedding. If something does happen at the wedding, you will never get that day back. I would tell her to shape up or not bother. Everyoen else is paying a lot of money to come as well. They deserve a stress free vacation as well. If she is having problems with booze at the moment and does do something drunk and stupied during a toast or something. When she is older and sober, she is going to hate herself for it. Trust me, I use to have a real drinking problem and have big regrets with people I have hurt. If you do keep her in the wedding and have her give a speach, get her a gift...but don't break the bank on it. If she is drinking at the wedding, you don't want to give her another excuse to be mad at you and cause a scene. Because she already paid, maybe offer to pay for the cancelation charge.

Very Cute, Have you asked your hubby what he thinks? Was just wondering if it ment anything that the inlaws suggestioned an alternative plan. Not that it matters what they think. Its your day! Do what you want. Sorry to hear about your dad btw =( /hugs

I have decided to add straps to my dress. It is not available with them. I have very board sholders and think i would feel much more comfortable and pritty with them. Has any one else done this to there bridal dress or have experience with it? Does anyone have "before and after" pictures? Thanks! This is the dress I am going to add straps too. Maybe 1 inch straps. I am Feb 18th at the Aventura Cove Palace at 4pm. I have booked the hotel and photographer, gotten a dress. Thanks about it =) and set out the STD!

Also, we need to have our reception on the Cove Side, Could anyone tell me which outside area is near the beach on that side that we could have our dinner on. There will be about 50 people. We are also having a cocktail party before the dinner. Any recommendations would be great. We need to have our events on the cove side because my niece is younger and I dont want them to get booked up, because the spa side wont work.

Does anyone happen to have a PDF of menu options / chooses for outside reception dinners? Our wed cordinator sent us a PDF with all sorts of wedding options, 5 pages of breakfist options but no dinner options.

We are doing: 45mins Ceremony at 4:00 1.5 Hour Private Cocktail party: 5:00 - 6:30 2.5 Hour Dinner: 6:30 - 9:00 45min Band Mariachi Band (MAYBE) 9:00 - 9:45 After that people can do as they please =) I didnt want the day to be too short because people came a long way to be here ,however my fiance and I hate dancing so this way we don't have to. The people that want to can go to the hotel club at after the band.
