Day 3. Last night 30 mins on treadmill

 I felt Exactly the same way. My FI and his whole family wanted to have kids in the wedding as the flower girl and brides maids. They just didn't get, that I didn't want that. No matter what I said. So...I canceled the whole bridal party thing. Now the only one that is standing up is me, and I couldn't be happier. Its a weight off my shoulders. so stick to you gut girl!. If you don't want them there, Don't have them their. If your like me, you are not going to be happy until this is settled. So make them aware. I am getting married at the Aventura Cove and Spa. Half is adults only. If you have the wedding on the adult side, the resort WILL NOT allow children...under no circumstances. Another good idea.....Pick an all adult resort =)

I just went to http://www.palaceresortsweddingphotos.com/products.php. It lists that TTD CAN NOT be used with Promo Dollards =( Â However...as sgray stated. It says you CAN use them on the Wedding Packages. These people need to hire us to do their stuff. I think they are confused.

I wonder if the TTD can be paid for in Vacation Dollars. That might be cool. Â

I am going to tell them that my cousin will be taking the photos. Me and my FI were laughing that all the resorts probably cry when Del Sol shows up. I bought them a day pass, so it shouldnt be a problem. If it is I will get them a room for the night. If the resort wasnt so close to Play Del Carman I probably would have anyways but I figuered they would just want to go home after working all day. Â I think one bride on the forum said she told her WC, Maybe Deluce? And she just frowned and said "Don't Tell Anyone" And that was the end of that. I think I will take the, "Avoid it at all costs" Â We did sign up for one of the resorts packages that comes with a Photographer. I might see if I can trade that in for a TTD or something the next day. I am guessing they will say No. From my experience, they don't like to give you an inch. Â

Did you see that Matt, Owner of Del Sol is starting another company under the Del Sol umbrella called La Luna. They are almost half the price! Lil ...  Tad of a rant but what annoys me is that all the brides on this site say there are a ton of options to choose from once you are down there. Centerpieces that are not in the PDF’s they sent. Décor options. Ect.  Why, oh why, cant them PDF the darn document and send it to us! This way I would be able to figure out what I can plan on handling down their and what I should bring. I have been making a lot of assumptions and I do not like working that way. In today’s technological world, PDF’s and computer files shouldn’t not be that outrages to expect.  Also…I to thought the wedding planner would be a tad more pro-active. If I did not know about this site, I would have never thought to ask her about Dj’s and such. I would have assumed they would take care of contacting me with what optional services I need…then created a quote/budget.  I SHOULD NOT HAVE TO HUNT DOWN EMAIL ADDRESS FOR PEOPLE I AM GIVING MONEY TOO!  I am not impressed with their organizational skills so far.

He would always get back to me the same day, sometimes with in the hour. Maybe he has multiple address, and some he doesnt check as regular? Â Try him at this one [email protected]? Â

So I think it’s worth the 5k. It will also be our hunnymoon.  I am spending at least 2.8k on photography. Del Sol was the first “Must Have†for my wedding. Their unparallel ability to capture photo journalism in a captivating, esthetic manner had me hooked. I knew after seeing their first slide show that these are not the photographers that also specialize in high school graduation photos on the side. I don't think I could even find a deal like that back home.  We got pretty lucky. We just bought a house this year and qualified for the first time home buyers credit. We are using the 8k from that to help pay for a few of the expenses.

Day 2 - 30 min treadmill

Forgot to add.....Grrrr no edit button. Â That about 50% of my reason for having the band is that I think it will make great photos. Kinda of crazy I know =) Otherwise I was scared my professional photos might come back a little boring.

I am doing an hour of Mariachi and the rest of the time I will be renting speakers and having background music. I am skipping the DJ due to the amount of people and demographics. Â If I win the lottery before my wedding i'll do fire dancers =)

Outside vendor services (photography, florists, decor companies, audio visual companies, entertainers, etc.) are not permitted on premises. However, with that being said Several Girls on this website have used outside photography vendors. In the past they have bought them day passes, don’t say anything about it. It varies from the regular list. JSAV are the preferred Palace Resorts Vendor for DJing. I do not think you would be able to get away with an outside DJ. My Wedding coordinator, Yazmin said she preferred if I contacted them myself. I booked them for 4 hours at $385. I thought it was going to be cheaper, but I am happy with this.  I put both of these Vendors on the Aventura Spa & Cove WIKI today.  Question 2:  I upgraded tables’ cloths to eggplant purple, with round tables and white wood chairs. I am bring down chair sashes and paper lanterns. You can rent them, but they are very expensive. I will probably rent Tiky Touches when I am down there.

I have noticed that when creating a WIKI I do a lot of copy and pasteing from Word into the WYSIWYG Editor. However there is not function with in the editor to strip off styles. This creates a lot of funky looking text. You are able to go into the HTML and manually strip off all the unnessarry tags, but man is this time consuming. Â It really makes me want to skip the whole WIKI thing. Plus I am not sure how many people here are up on there coding. Â I suggest putting in a "Style Stripper & Copy and Paste From Word" Button/Function with in the editor. Â There is an example of an Editor with this function HERE Â Thanks!

What an amazing oppurtunity. You are soo lucky! Congrats. I booked Del Sol for my wedding in February. I probably would have booked the wedding for July if I would have know this was going to happen hehe. I simply love how your wedding colors look in the photos. The pink pops so well! Â They must have had a really fast turn around on these pictures! I remember them just advertising for this amazing promo. You could probably use them for a slideshow at your ARH if your having one! =)))

So I started a Wiki on Aventura Cove and Spa. You guys can add to it as you find new intel. Its very basic atm but I did add all of my files for download that I have collect. Enjoy!

Wow you got good taste lady! And i'm not just saying that because I have the same vase from IKEA. =) I love everything, your dress is amazing. Congrats. I hope you have a perfert wedding!
