Have you ruled out the resorts salon?

I haven't yet, but we plan on buying them from Michael's in a few weeks. We are going with one of the folding envelope card sets. I think its black and white. Its not exactly what I wanted, but it saves us a ton of cash. We are going to also buy the little wax seals from Michael's and put them on the instead envelope. I think they will look great. I am actually pretty excited about doing them. I had DIY projects because normally you have to cut things and use glue, but with these projects they are pre-assembled. Â I would love to see pictures of any finished Michael's Invites! Â You can always buy additional embelishments online if you want to dress them up a bit. I might buy some bright envolope liners to spice up the black and white invites.

Â I love how this couple brought cut outs of their puppies with them down to Riviera Maya. Â Has anyone else had any good ideas how to incorporate pets into their wedding...when its a Destination Wedding. I would really like to do something for my kitties. Â Also maybe something for the Humane Society..A call out on my website or something for those who rather donate to a charity then give us a gift. Â Any Idea's Ladies? Their has to be some good ideas with all the newer girls! =) Â Â Â

I booked my wedding for 4:00. I am still trying to figure out a time line.  I know that:  4:00 Ceremony 5:00 Cocktail (w/ General Music playing from a docking station, Bride/Groom take photos) 6:00 Dinner/Speeches 7:00 Mariachi ? 8:00 Cake/Mayan Coffee 8:00 plus - General Music Playing/Dance of some sort  My Questions is...Should I have General music playing around 7:00 and do that Mariachi at 5:00 during Cocktail Hour or Have the mariachi at 7:00 and have general music playing during the cocktail party. Thoughts?  Also...Do Speeches go before/After or During Dinner?

That is so so so awesome! I can't wait to see pictures from your wedding. I believe your the next one on here (ASP) to get married? Its late, so I might be off. Anyways...with 75 nights you also get 7 nights free. How great is that. Thats probably my biggest drive to get 75nights. Â

I am sure the resort photographer does good work jszy, I know a women up here that has used them and was very happy. I have a specific look I wanted so I choose Del Sol. La Luna is the same company as Del Sol but only $400 an hour if that is in your budget. Â The good thing about the palace photographer is your could use your palace dollars. (or so I have heard....I have heard both ways it seems) Â Before I found these forums and all the great resources I didnt think twice about using the resort photographer. Thats the one downfall of these boards. They make me feel I need everything. Â I even started looking into makeup and hair out side the resort. But then I reminded myself that I can not garentee it will be better anywhere else. I havnt met any outside vendors either. I am sure if I bring a photo Palace Resorts will do perfect work. Â

Buying my invites this month and sending them out next months. I thought 4 months ahead of time isnt too too bad. Normally I would wait, but I want them out before the Holidays. What about you girls?

I booked them the day after I booked the hotel because I was paranoid they wouldn't be free lol.  Their work has been seen in magazine around the world and have been voted one of the top ten destination wedding photographers in the world. They are a little pricey, but they take “Quality†to a new level by there unparalleled ability to capture photo journalism. If you love the Del Sol style, but would prefer a more economical choice. Matt, Owner of Del Sol apparently started another company under the Del Sol umbrella called La Luna.  Their website is located HERE -> http://www.lalunaphotographers.com/ I believe they start around 400 an hour.  You should take a look; I believe some of the pictures posted on the website are of Best Destination Wedding Brides. Â

Both Weekend days I get to sleep in: Saturday and Sunday

Wow I think those pictures prove that you certainly can have fabulous pictures with square tables. I personally want round. I thought people could talk with each other better. Also. round tables take up more space, and I only have about 25-30 people coming, So I think round 5 tables would look smashing =)

I am a size ten...A very comfortable size ten. I alway wanted to be a size 4 ,but not really enough to do anything about. Plus I love food! MMMM Wisconsin Cheese. Â The real reason I am dropping weight for my wedding is for the photographs. While I am completely happy with my weight on a day to day bases. I hate seeing myself in pictures. For what I am paying for my wedding photographs, I am going to be soooo mad at myself if I don't loose weight.
