  1. Its in the fine print on their website...and if you call the weddings department they will tell you the same thing. When I have more of a break at work I will locate it and post it =)
  2. You will get 1500 If you are staying monday night - saturday night (750 if you leave Friday Morning because it isnt 5 nights) You will then get an additional 1,500 for Friday/SaturdayNight - the following Sunday.  So 3,000 Total. that will be split between the room. If you stayed 4 nights on both side, you would get 750 on both sides, 1,500 total.  1,500 = For 5-7 Nights on the CoveSide 1,500 = For 5-7 Nights on the SpaSide  =3,000 total =)  Â

On there wiki they have 7 slide shows with over 100 photos on each slide show. Because of their unique style I am sure you can find pictures of the gobezo from angle you wouldn't see anywhere else. It really helped me pick my wedding location from thousands of miles away =)
  5. I got mine from the store. I bought 15 of them in a variety of colors. I LOVE them! and....I saw a girl at an art fair using one as a purse so I was even more impressed with my choice lol
  6. Big Daddy : Frying Pan   ( When I was little It's what we use to call our 2ft wide camping flying pan)
  7. Awsome decision ladies! This is good for the rest of us too...It means we get to see more amazing photoshoots! Â Congrats on your booking!!!
  8. We are going to use the first 1,500 toward the package, and go on all our excersions with the 1,500 from the second week.
  9. Ladies... Â I jsut wanted to let you know that..If you are staying for a while and break up your stay between the Spa side and the Cove side you get double dollars. Â We are staying for two weeks and splitting it 50/50..We are getting 1,500 on each side. I have it writting =)
  10. I have the wooden Gazebo booked for my dinner/cocktail party area. I thought it looked pretty and close. I was going to hang my chinese lanterns from the top of it. Do you think this is a good space for that? I have never been to actual resort so its hard to judge.
  11. I LOVE! Your Cake, thats one of the best I have seen from this resort. Do you happen to have a close up of your tables at dinner. I am doing the same centerpieces I believe. Thanks soooo much for posting
  12. I absoluty LOVE this slideshow. Your Pet locket is a great idea! I'll have to put that in the "Pet at Ceromy" Thread. You look gorgous. I really think the rain added to your slide show. It was probably a headache at the time ,but it really produced some unque moment, that tell an amazing story....and hey! How many brides get a real rainbow in their shots. Â Awsome Job Vincint and Johathan! Â Is this the same Jonathan that works with Del Sol Sister Company La Luna? Awsome 2 guys you have their, everything I have seen from them is top notch. However...I would say your slideshow is especailly captivating because of the rain =) Â
  13. We are getting married at the Aventura Cover and Spa. I wanted a hotel that was more or less in the middle of no where. Their is nothing wrong with the hotel district, it's just not for us. We are pretty quite, non city people =) On a side note. Palace Resorts do have a great deal going on right now with receiving 1,500 promo dollars for staying their. Â It just really comes down to what you are look for. If you are looking for a smaller boutique resorts. It probably isn't for you. If you like a larger, all in one resort, they seem great! Â What month are you getting married in?
  14. Its a law in Mexico in regards to the 3 business days. You will find that everywhere down their. Also, I am getting married at Palace Resorts. We also have to pay a $300 fee. I believe it is to pay the offical for coming and marring you. It doesnt go to the hotel.
  15. I think I am going to do flower petals. We are having an all white wedding and the contrast should be amazing!  You ladies should check out the Del Sol wiki --> http://www.bestdestinationwedding.com/wiki/del-sol-photography-slideshows-riviera-maya  They have over 6,000 wedding photos at a verity of resorts. Its where I got most of my inspirations.  Some of my aisle favorites are when the bride and groom have been married and they are walking back from the ulter and there are bright flower petals flying ever where.
  16. Hi! I am also getting married at a Palace Resort! They seem soo amazing. Good choice! If you are looking for good images of the the Palace Resorts check out the Del Sol wiki, I know they have taken tons of photos at the Moon Palace.  http://www.bestdestinationwedding.com/wiki/del-sol-photography-slideshows-riviera-maya  The moon palace is under "Weddings in Cancun" section. It really helped me to get ideas on decorations for the our receptions!
  17. This is kinda what I am going for. I bought about 50 laterns with batery lights. Â
  18. Are you going with them Coconoir? I have them booked too! I am sooooooo excited. It really was the motivation I needed to kick of my diet as well. lol Probably the best decision I have made so far in the wedding process =) Â I am constantly second guessing my resort, my dress, I have bought three different pairs of wedding shoes, and I don't like my veil, BUT! I have never never thought twice about Del Sol/ La Luna. They need to open up a Full Wedding Shop lol. Â You wont reget it one bit.
  19. Hmmm I couldnt find it in the wiki area either..Maybe I did something wronge with it. I dunno =)
  20. Check out this Season Guide From Del Sol located here  http://delsolphotography.com/blog/index.php/seasonalguide.flo  They live down there in Playa Del Carman i think and they shoot weddings their every week, so I am guessing they are the experts on it. Its written from the perspective of Matt and Sol, owners of Del So, not just a copy and paste from the weather channel.com or something. This is probably as Real as the Information gets  While I am guessing everyone has their own opinion on whats best, it really depends what you are looking for. =)
  21. Matt is much to modest! Â He's one of the best photographers in all of Mexico, let alone the world. If you really want to see what the resort looks like check this slide show. It show the resort through the eye of a photo genius! Â http://delsolphotography.com/blog/content/galleries/?gal=187 Â If you want to see what it looks like from a Bridal Stand point check out this album. It I wasn't having a larger wedding with kids I would have booked here in a second. Â http://delsolphotography.com/blog/content/galleries/?gal=230 Talk about one lucky bride! I love how she has the reception out on the pier.
