  1. Question for you ladies. I want to order the maracas from Marishka designs but in an attempt to keep costs down I am thinking of only ordering 1 per guest. Does that sound reasonable or should maracas always come in pairs??
  2. I am definitely interested if you make another order! Thanks!

All of us brides have this same issue. I guess the name of the game is patience! I have sent multiple e-mails in the last 2 months and never received a reply. I am getting married November 2010. I have had the best luck having my travel agent find out information for me. She actually just calls Ana. My TA sent me a pre-paid calling card so I can call Ana myself, which is what I think I am going to have to do. Good luck!

Megan...the template I have for the list and times of events is on my mom's computer which just crashed the other day so unfortunately I can't post it for you However, it was very, very east to do! She did it in Microsoft Word. If you need help figuring it out, let me know and I will try to re-create it and post for you. I'll post a picture of it... Also, I got chocolates from Ah Cacao, which is located in Playa del Carmen for favors for my wedding. It was a great suggestion from somebody on here (sorry, I don't remember who!!) and it was a hit. I contacted them through their website before I left for Mexico and paid for the chocolates by paypal. I arranged with Ah Cacao for the chocolates to be delivered the day before the wedding and they were delivered right to the hotel concierge with no problems. They only charged $8 for delivery fee and a taxi ride to Playa costs $50, so it was a great deal! They have lots of stuff depending on how much you want to spend. Did you get stuff for your OOT bags yet? One thing that I put in mine that was used a lot in Mexico and at home was chapstick. I got mine from this website ( Cocktail Lip Balms ) and the flavors were so good I got margarita and pina colada - yum! I'll post a pic of my OOT bag contents for you too so you can see what else I put in them. Hope that helps! Wedding Events: OOT bag contents: ] Love your OOT bags! Where did you get the actual bag and the mugs? Did you make your own labels? How?

I bought a10 sized cards (3.875 x 9.25) at Michaels - it was in the wedding aisle - Mix and Mingle by Gartner studios (I bought white and then ordered pink envelopes from Paper Presentation to stuff them in). OMG, your OOT bags are fabulous! Where did you get the actual bag and the mugs? Thanks!

Is that the area between the infinity pool and the beach? Where the board walk is? Thanks!

Hope you had an amazing wedding and can't wait to see your pictures I tipped the DJ, photographer (although I read in many places that they don't expect tips), the videographer, the wedding coordinator, and I think that my dad tipped the Mexican trio because I forgot about them when getting together my tips. I put all of the tips in labeled envelopes for each of the people that I wanted to tip and then had them all with me to give out at the end of the night. I was so afraid I would forget somebody! You must be getting so excited! 2 weeks will fly by! How much are you tipping everyone?

(We're doing the ultimate.) Will we need a sound system? Any knowledge any of you have about this would be greatly appreciated! There is no sound system included with any package. You have to purchase the sound system, which also comes with a technician, for $180.

I think that it looked nice with the white linens at the reception...I had white linens, orange flower centerpieces and light blue chair sashes. Too funny, my colors are blue and orange also! Thanks for the info. Did you use the same chair sashes for the wedding and the reception? Did you use their sashes, or did you bring your own? Thanks for the info!
  12. Question for you ladies. For the reception and/or cocktail hour, we have to pay extra for the linens? Is that just if you want a certain color? Are there any basic linens that are included in the cost of the reception?

  16. So who are you sending invitations too? Just the people coming to the wedding? Everyone? Will they be part of your OOT bags or are you mailing them before? Do I really need an invitation? Everyone who will be there knows what they came for Just curious as to everyone's thoughts.
  17. Another question ladies. Inviations. Who are you sending them to and when? Will they be part of your OOT bags? Sending them in the mail before the wedding just to people coming or everyone? Do I really need to do an invitation at all? Obviously everyone coming, knows why they are there....
  18. Hello ladies, So does anyone know much about the night club/disco that is at the resort? I am considering just going there for the reception party instead of hiring a DJ. Anyone know if kids can get into the night club? Just not sure how fun it will be? Also thinking of renting a bus to take everyone into PDC that night. Not sure. Just looking for ways to save $$!!

Cake for 20 people is included in the Ultimate package. How many people are you having? Either the prices listed are the price you have to pay if your not getting the package, OR maybe she factored in how many people you will be having and changed the price?? I'm doing the Ultimate package too. We will probably have 30-40 people but I'm not going to upgrade the cake. I'm just sticking with the cake for 20 people. Not everyone will want cake anyway and what will I do with the extra??

They are gettting really busy so maybe they are just squeezing weddings in wherever they can. I hope the quality and service don't suffer because they got too popular, too fast!
