  1. We ended up getting a photo pakage for $1,050 and a video package for the same amount. There was one package that was higher for $1800 but it wasn't necessary. It included bride getting ready but my photogrpaher ended up doing that for me anyway. We then added a CD of all the pictures and you can print them at home. SHe have that to us for $495..originally 600 I think. Then we also got two canvases because we loved the pics so much.
  2. We used the pics included in the package for a welcome dinner. Then we purchased a photo package, and also all the photos on a CD and 2 canvases. It was worth it!
  3. The reception was on the deck between the beach and the pool. They provided the lights under the table for $30 each. It was so worth it because the look was amazing! It really lit up the deck! They provide the other spot lights.
  4. My overlays were a crystal organza. I bought them from a website. I saw silk ones when I was there and they all looked great!

  6. Hi Ladies!!! I am back from my AMAZING wedding at Dreams!!!! We were there for 12 days and I cannot tell you how happy I am with the resort!!!! Everything was amazing! I will try and get a review in and if you have and questions I will try and answer them! I used Yazmin because Ana was busy when I got there and she was pretty great. There were minor mistakes with our welcome dinner but it ended up being better!!! Everything really does come together when you meet with the coordinators. There really is no need to stress at all....wish I believed that before I went! I am so sad to be back home....we all are and my entire group is already planning a trip back!

  8. I am using Ana for my wedding this Sunday. I will get to meet her Wednesday! I hear she does a great job once you are there! It is just so difficult getting answers from her before!

  10. How have any past brides ended up getting upgraded to a suite? Do they charge you more if it's available or is it given? Do you have to ask for this? Right now we have a preferred club ocean view room, so I am not sure if they will give us a suite or anything? ANyone know?
  11. Hey ladies!! I am leaving om Wednesday for my wedding and still no word from Ana! Oh well, I guess I really have to just wait until I get there! The wedding is next sunday!! Yaye! Getting excited but nervous. I feel like we are going to have a lot of surprise charges when we get there and I really need to stick to some kind of budget at this point,
  12. Hey Ladies! Picked up my dress today!!! I need to purchase a flower for my hair and have no time to order one..so I saw a really beatiful one at the bridal shop. I asked the price and she tells me $275!!!! I could not believe it..for a silly white silk flower!! So mad. Told her she can put that right back..lol. now I need to find one in 3 days!

  14. Hey Ladies!! Are any of you planning on wearing a flower in your hair on your wedding day? I wore one to a party the other day and the second I stepped out in the heat, it died! I am not sure what to do. I don't think I have time to order a fake one either. I know there are some flowers that can withstand the heat...but very worried. What are u all doing?
  15. Is anyone flying JetBlue?? Just wanted to check...it is $30 for every extra suitcase?? We are allowed one suitcase and one carryon..a, I right on that? Also have to make sure bags aren't over 50 lbs. That gets pricier.

  22. My fiance and I were looking over pricing tonight and realized we are spending a whole lot on pictures and video!! Getting a little stressed. The spending just doesn't end!
