Dj Doremixx was great! I used the, for my wedding in August. It was 300/hour and you get music, a few cold fireworks that went of at the end of our first dance, some long balloons that they gave out and light up necklaces and bracelets. I really didn't want any cheesy things given away, but those were actually pretty awesome! They will announce you and your bridal party in as well. I definitely recommend them!

I got married in August and I took everything with me. I was very worried about shipping it there. Don't forget it has to go through customs so you never know if it will even make it there. We put things in everyone's bags. My mother and my in-laws paid for an extra suitcase. It was about $50 for each additional bag. That is a lot cheaper than shipping...gets expensive! But if I were you, I would give a few things for everyone to take and pay for a few extra bags. They even stopped my mom with the sand ceremony and wanted to chemical test the sand!! LOL...but they ended up letting her go through with it. So you never know!! Good luck!

I actually had my welcome dinner at the wine cellar. I put 25 in there. I got lucky though, The only reason I had it there was because they screwed up my original dinner that was supposed tobe in the mexican restaurant. The manager never got the email from the wedding coordinator. SO the manager of the french restaurant was running around and set up the wine cellar real quickly! We loved it! He used usually u have to spend $600 in wine, but due to the mix up, we paid nothing. WOrked out pretty well!

You are right Melissa! I didn't speak to the coordinator at all. My Travel Agent contacted her a few times just to book the locations for my ceremony, cocktail hour, and reception. Also, the DJ and photographer. Other than that, I handled all of the other details when I got down there. Everything really does fall into place when you get there. Good luck!

No problem Dawn!! For the welcome dinner Yazmin had emailed El Patio to arrange something the day everyone got there. But the manager never got the email. SO after some chaos it actually worked out better...they set us up in the wine cellar in the french restaurant. It was private and great! They did set up tiki torches for us on the deck. We didn't even ask for it...they just did. The cocktail hour was at Desires Terrace and that was really nice too!! I will email you pics! Â

We used the resorts photogrpaher, Adventure Photos. We used Anel and I would highly recommend her! She waws amazing!!! You can request her. Try this [email protected] We got a whole photo package. We used the 36 that came with the package for a welcome dinner. But then purchased a package, a CD with all of our pics that we can print, and 2 canvases. We also purchased a video package.

The sun set between 7:30 and 8:00 when we were there. It was very bright at 5 during our ceremony and we were squinting...esp my husband. LOL...but about 6 was PERFECT for the beach..even the photogrpaher said so. I am not sure how it will be when you go though...sun will set earlier. The ceremony is less than a half hour...so I think you will have time to do some beach. They do it really quickly! Do the beach first and then get some family shots inside.

My ceremony was originally at 6 but we pushed it up to 5 so that we could do pics right after the ceremony. Our cocktail hour was at 7 and we wanted to make it to that. We were there for almost the whole thing. I didn't want to see him before the ceremony for pics, so I would maybe move it up and hour so that you can take pics right after the ceremony. I had my reception on the deck as well and it does cost almost 90 per person (including cocktail hour). I think you will have to pay per person for a wedding no matter what,
