OK Ladies I need some advice and possibly a Xanax!!! lol 

 

 

Im not sure if im just having a Bridezilla moment but I received my "approval" pics from the website I ordered my flowers from and I think the bouquet is hideous!! It looks like a cheap verison of the bouquet that was advertised online!  

 

My wedding is 1 month away I dont know what to do!!!!

 

Am I being crazy?!?! what do you guys think?

We are getting married at 3:00pm on the beach       the reception is also on the beach and I'm paying the extra for the dance floor and the sound system.

Heres my update!

 

I went for my first dress fitting today and I am proud to report that my dress is huge on me! that means my weeks on the treadmill are paying off so im proud of that! .

 

My bridesmaids dresses came in and i LOVE them! I love love love them! They are the perfect shade of hot pink, just what I wanted! Im so excited everything is coming together!

 

I just ordered my linens and my real touch bouquets should be here any day now! I'm very excited!

omg Carolina what a nightmare!!!!!!!    im so glad everything worked out for you!   I cant wait to see your dress!  Im extra lucky because I get to see you IN your dress all dolled up on your wedding day!    yay!!!

lol no sure why the word hispanic popped up in my picture! lol prob because the name of the topper is "hispanic couple"   .....Since i am Puerto Rican i guess it works out haha

This is not the centerpieces I will be using for my wedding but it was the centerpiece's my bridesmaids used for my bridal shower and I thought they were so beautiful! I wanted to share this pic with my fellow BDW brides!

So my Bridal Shower was yesterday It feels so real now!! My bridesmaids did such a good job I couldn't have asked for a better shower! My cake was fabulous, and the centerpieces were so cute! I thought I would post a few pictures for you ladies because we all know how much we LOOOVE pictures here on BDW!

WOW good job Carolina!!!!! so pretty!! i would def be interested in sharing and splitting cost with ya! how many tables are you having? I emailed claudia to ask how many people fit at each table and for table measurements but still no reply.

carolina24 i LOVE that idea!! my colors are also pink and orange but I am clueless as to what i want to do for centerpieces actually i kinda know what I want to do but not sure how practical its gonna be. what are your ideas?

telly...it seems like most of us are doing real touch. I chose silk flowers because i like the idea of being able to keep my bouquet forever

Thanks Ladies for the dress feedback!!! my invitations are FINALLY sent out! o man what a project! did i mention i hate diy projects!! lol

Looking for a good hairpiece now, some kind of flower or something. Any suggestions??

Ok well I should first admit that my DIY skills are awful! I searched for invitations for a long time and could not find anything that I really loved. They were all either too expensive or not what I was looking for.

I took a trip to A.C Moore and found a print your own 25ct invitation kit on sale for $23. They were O.K but I thought maybe I can jazz it up a little!

So i purchased hot pink cardboard paper from A.C Moore, then purchased the little starfish from Oriental Trading.com. 500 dime sized starfish for $5.99, not bad at all! Then, I took on of my fav pics of us from our trip to Jamaica to one of those Kodak photo kiosk and the picture resized to fit the invitation. And voila! My semi-diy project!

With postage and materials for 50 invitations my grand total was around $130.

o no no no you are not being a bridezilla at ALL!! it looks nothing like the first picture. I would contact the vendor and demand they rush me another bouquet or refund my money. That is just wrong. I wish you all the best

Tanyon......those are beautiful centerpieces! I love the 2nd choice, the sliced lemons and tulips!

MNH....ugh im going thru kind of the same thing!! Every post office near me is out of pretty 20 cent stamps!! I know its not a big deal but I just want it to look nice and the 20 cent stamps are hideous! Its funny bc a fellow BDW member pointed out to me that "no once cares about the details of you wedding but you" but I disagree! lol

Carolina, I know its pretty exciting to know we will be there the same dates! We will def meet for drinks!....How many guest do you have coming down?

mnh i feel your pain! my FI and I have been working on our invitations for like 5 days now! they are almost complete, im buying the stamps for them today and they should be shipped out by wed!

its all starting to feel real!!
